Smallest State by Area in South South Nigeria is Akwa-Ibom
7,081 km²

Bayelsa is 10,773km²

Bayelsa is 873 km² bigger than Imo and Anambra States put together.

Bayelsa is bigger than 10 Nigerian States including Lagos, Ekiti, Osun, Imo, Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi, Abia, Akwa-Ibom and the FCT.
