Watching the interview of Timilehin Ajayi the murderer, he seems to be suffering from Schizophrenia. I have seen a few violent cases before and every tell tale points to this. He has not a single remorse for his action and doesn't seem to comprehend the magnitude of what he has done. The Wickedness cannot be condoned but I think the government should have either a home or free treatment for those suffering from such mental illness. There are many people walking on the streets with this kind of mental problem. I don't know how Salome didn't detect this on time. Any specialist of mental health can easily diagnose this as schizophrenia. Unfortunately, mental illness or not, it doesn't absolve him of the consequences of his crime He may have even assumed that he was seriously dating this girl for over one year |

illicit:The mental illness theory explains why he was caught. A sane murderer would probably have tried disposing off the head during the night. The report was that fly was hovering all over the polythene bag he used to carry the head. His family would know that he is not mentally stable But can they even afford the treatment which may last for years!? He is mentally fit and sound. I have reviewed the video of his initial interrogation at the time he was caught (I have the full video of that interrogation and the beating ) and it is evident that he was fully aware of his actions. He had discernment and clarity when he committed his crime. What he is currently exhibiting appears to be the result of two factors: 1. The physical effects of the beating he received, as indicated by his reduced stamina. 2. A possible attempt to feign insanity, as this might alter the narrative and potentially mitigate the consequences of his actions. This is my professional observation as a neurologist and psychiatrist. |

TenQ:You can't judge sanity by how smart or unsmart a criminal tries to cover his tracks. He was most likely distressed. His behaviours while he was being interviewed shows he was just distressed. He didn't act arbitrarily. He stated that he murdered her for cheating on him. |
