No I'm not but it doesn't make sense to say spirituality can control outcomes in football. If that's the case, don't you think footballers would stop playing ball seriously and focus on the spiritual to win their matches?

In a game of football, there are plenty factors that contribute to the outcome of a football match. The most obvious, are strength of the team, form, home advantage. H2H, formation, tactics.

The non obvious factors are media, weather, player's mood e.g you see a player who's been in a good goal scoring form, missing big chances against a small team. It could be because he had an argument with his wife prior to the match or he lost a game of poker with his friends or he saw an online comment critizing him therefore putting him in a bad mood.

Players and coaches mood affect the outcome of the match massively. A coach can be in a bad mood and make the wrong changes or waiting too long before taking out a player playing rubbish. An example is Chelsea's match yesterday, the coach failed to take Madueke out early enough even though he was playing rubbish. Another example is Liverpool's game yesterday. Tsimikas and Jota were subbed in and guess what Tsimikas had an assist with his first touch and Jota scored with his first touch. All this happened in less than a minute.

All these factors contribute to the outcome of the match. So if you're are saying spirituality works, how does it control all these factors?
