I don't know how to convince you. But I want to tell you that FFK at did not run after soldiers going for his father.

Foul!
If a soldier pointed a gun at your father's skull when you're six, would you ever forget that ugly experience?. Stop being a slowpoke.

Your attempt at changing history is not just lame but laughable.

For the records, I am a northerner that was born and raised in Kaduna. I had all of my education in Kaduna from primary school to masters level. I can take you to the house that Nzougwu lived in an area called Abakpa in Kaduna. I went to the same secondary school that Nzougwu went and the school still stands till this day.

Lastly, I will not reply you anymore as you are just a liar with absolutely no knowledge about what you are lying about.
Okay. Keep fighting the Igbo and yourba war
.

Have a good day.

Phillip Effiong is not part of your Biafra, rumour has it that he is the one that did the surrender because it would have looked bad if an Ndigbo did it.

Effiong and his people never got a referendum to see if they wanted to be part of Biafra. All the celebrations they showed when the Nigerian Army chased the Biafran army out of their towns and cities suggests they were forcefully co-opted into a madcap Ndigbo project.

Ndigbo Biafrans dare not try it on his people nowadays.

Also, Ndigbo were not massacred by Ndi Yoruba at any time. They were welcome back with open arms and their monies restored in Ala Yoruba.

Behave yourself with the rewriting of history.
Biafra was not a premeditated project, but out of urgency and survival. Yet, notable people from the region agreed upon it. In fact, the name Biafra was given by my own Ijaw man, not an Igbo man.
There were people in support and those against Biafra from all groups. Some of my uncles were on the side of Biafra, while others on the side of Nigeria.

Drawing a conclusion based on evidence is called logical conclusion. It’s what intelligent, properly educated logical minded people do. You look at the evidence and draw a conclusion, you don’t draw a conclusion and look for evidence to fit.

I am pure unadulterated Yoruba with Royal paternal and maternal lineages. I make the same comment to you I made to the 1mb3cil3 who brought his tribe and mine into the discussion…….If you have to bring your tribe or the tribe of your into the argument, it means your argument has reached it’s intellectual ceiling. We have eediots from all tribes.

Not every yoruba is an omoluabi. We have traitors amongst us, we saw what baba Kekere tried to do to Tinubu. Similarly, Not every Fulani is a born to rule mentality, not every Ibo is a closet IPOB or has an expansionist agenda! If Akintola and Awo can disagree what says the coup plotters agreed with the Ibo establishment and their expansionist and domination agenda?

It is ok to judge a race based on common traits but it is also important to recognize there are exceptions to every rule.
from the early 1900s even before Nigeria's almagation of northern and southern Nigeria.. Nnamdi Azikwe's father was working for the Bri:tish as a secretary and hundreds if not thousands of other i:gbos were also working for the bri:tish all over Nigeria because the Bri:tish favored them and not because other tribes were not qualified and un-educated.

Despite i:gbos having most of the federal jobs all over Nigeria the regional jobs and institutions were controlled by the indigenes and Western Nigeria created more regional institutions, companies and agencies than other regions and i:gbos like Azikwe were covetous towards Western Nigeria's institutions and wanted control of Western Nigeria and its regional institutions which i:gbos till date are still trying to grab control of states in the SW...

there are no exceptions to any rule.

Ethnicity is brought into issues so that no ethnicity is deceived and deprived of things they should benefit from..

Anyone that can not bring up ethnicity into issues will never defend his or her own ethnicity in times of danger..

Kem:i Ba:d:enoch brought ethnicity into her conversation...

You are not Yoruba..

no Yoruba person born of 2 Yoruba parents will be anti-Yoruba like you..

You are the traitor you speak of....

Did he also remember the corruption of his father, and how his father alongside Akintola rigged the elections in the south west which resulted in the wilf wild west chaos? Some of Una no just get sense. You don't know that those coupists help stopped your region from imploding.
Maybe they would have appreciated it more if the coupists had put the bullets on your father.

You this boy, you're just yapping rubbish to justify the satanic act of your kinsmen. To you, a six year old is a dummy who can't recollect what happened under his nose?. How old were you when you started school?
Also, was Awolowo in charge when the coup happened?.study your history, ignorance is not bliss, boy.
It's either you are lying, or Adebanjo is. https://punchng.com/akintola-travelled-ambulances-protection-wild-wild-west-crisis-ayo-adebanjo/

So, he told you that killing leaders from the western region & the leaders from the north where there was no crisis was the solution to the crisis?. Is that why igbos are still paying for it till date?
Re: January 15, 1966: A Morning Of Murder, Mayhem And Carnage By FFK by Smartjob1(f): 6:55pm On Jan 15, 2025
Shut up if you have nothing sensible in your brain.

PressMyButton:
The President has reintroduced history in schools and made it compulsory, so shall we talk history?.
The irony is that those people who struck FIRST without any provocation are the ones crying to be the victims today. According to FFK, let's forget the past, let's move on and forgive but then again, have the perpetrators ever sought for forgiveness?.
Okay, let's move on, but are the perpetrators till date not persistent with same agenda of occupation of all minorities of SS and their lands without respect for their respective identity, drawing them into a map and calling all of them Biafrans as against their wish, should we move on?
Okay, let's move on but have they moved on from the election loss?, till today, they wish the country burn except their own is in power. They can't move on but FFK is asking those whose leaders, families, fathers, mothers, grandparents, great grandparents, families were murdered in cold blood should forget the past when the closure they are seeking for has not been granted them. FFK is lucky, his family was spared, he could have been different if his father was equally murdered before his very own eyes as a little boy. FFK has changed with age, we know what he could have said 5, 10 years ago.
The perpetrators are still holding firm to the 1966 agenda of domination, so, how do we move on?.

Point is, Biafra was an overwhelmingly Ndigbo thing, minorities in Eastern Region should have been, as a matter of courtesy, offered a Referendum, same as any prospective Oodua republic should offer Ẹdo, Itsekiri, Olukumi, Urhobo, Ilaje, Afemai, Esan first before attempting to dragg them in.

Notable people kwa, they had to agree or they would shot dead by the next morning.

I am no longer interested in what happened before I was born.I am interested in what is happening now and future. The incompetency of frog eye is killing people because of hunger and insecurity. Then again the North has rejected Tpain .The SE will never consider him for vote. The SS will not vote him.So it is finished. The youth will defend thr vote with thr blood. The rubbish of go to corrupt judiciary will not happen.
And for it to be loud.I wish obi does not even participate in the election.

Your attempts to appear knowledgeable make you appear very ignorant. Everybody who is a student of Nigerian history knows the background of the coup. So I don’t see what you are trying to achieve by telling me about what happened in the west before the coup.

Do you think you are talking to a millennial who doesn’t know history?

Ayo Adebanjo is somebody I knew very well when I was young. Even though my late parents were not politicians, a lot of the political gladiators of the time were friends of my parents. There is nothing you can educate me on the matter. Trust me!

LA 2191D green Mercedes’ Ben 200 with white interior. That’s the official car given to him in 1977 by the party.

If you have anything intelligent to offer, either facts or opinion backed with critical thinking do so, but nobody cares about all the nonsense you just wrote. Those are weak attempt by someone who is learning his history in 2025 on the internet.

I have already told you I don’t believe it was an ibo coup but unfortunately for them they failed and power fell into the hands of ibo expansionists who then acted in typical ibo fashion.

BTW:

1) if you have to start mentioning your tribe or referencing mine in making a point, you have no point. A truth is truth irrespective of where you, myself or anyone comes from.
2) your choice of heroes shows you are likely just radical for the sake of radical and don’t think through things. The kind of person that changes a government for the sake of it because you don’t like the current state of affairs and plunges the country into a crisis. Kinda the same thing the 15th January coup plotters did.
Nothing I have writen is out of place. Giving you a little background of myself was to enable you understand me better and my points.
I don't see anyone have vested interest in the history and also the future of Nigeria more that as I do. And that is because my resources are used to run this fraud of a country that is destined for doom only.
If the names I have mentioned whose character I admire do not tickle your fancy, then that tells a lot about you.
Well, I appreciate the fact that we both agreed that the coup was not an Igbo coup. There is no greater truth in this matter than this.

Godwin4444:
y are u Igbos like this for crying out loud?

How many times have we laid that lie to rest that they wanted to free awolowo cos of d coup?

The coup was not about awolowo but Igbos greed for power, so if it was about freeing awolowo, y did nnamdi azikwe n ojukwu had issues about d war he embarked on?

Guy it's Igbos greed to have it all that led to d war n not trying to free awolowo

What's d relationship between awolowo n Igbos that Igbos will go out all their way to kill all those people simply because of one Yoruba man?

So u wanted to free awolowo but killed everyone aside from people from your tribe?

Guy u Igbos can't rewrite history

This is Why talking about history is damn problematic. Don't use your big 2025 IQ and logic to discuss matters about the past. You have to present yourself in that era. Nigerians of that time had not evolved to understand some of this things. Democracy, Referendum, military junta, e.t.c; all these were experimental stuff at the time. No one knew it better.
