They were on their way to the bottom of the table, that's why their former manager was sacked.

People sack managers to get that new manager bounce and get results. You're hired for a change not to remain in deep sh!!t.
Ruud is doing a terrible job at Leicester. Results back these claims not hear say.

Arsenal pls get a striker...we are tired of missing chances,

This could have easily been 5-6 goals

Odegard can't score

Harvetz can't score

Sterling can't score

Martinelli can't score

How on earth did we want to win anything with this set of upfront

Tottenham defense too poor especially their goal keeper getting caught with the ball every single time. I just hope their attack with solanke can salvage something from this match.
Well Arsenal deserved the win .. poor decision from the coach for taking out son when you need another goal.

Some weeks ago, people were already saying Liverpool has won the league.
Looking at this table again, you just have to laugh 😀

My only disappointment is that, it doesn't look like we are making much effort to solve some of our immediate problems in this January transfer window.

I get your drift but hiring managers these days has become a hit or miss. Just look at how many managers Chelsea has hired in the past 15 - 20 years. Another look at Westham FC, they just fired the guy they hired last summer.
Another case is Man Utd, do you know how many managers they've hired and fired since Fergie left?

My own is they should have just left the manager that took them from Championship back to the big league.

It was clear their lack of signings was going to affect their season just like Everton and Southampton.

As it stands now, they are headed back to relegation, which makes their sacking of Cooper downright idiotic.

I hate it when clubs and fans think sacking a manager will paper over the cracks of poor club management.

Modified: I realize it was even Maresca that helped them back to the Epl.

It's still 4 points and a game less for Liverpool 👀... So what's funny again? Arsenal being second? 😕

Where are the Liverpool fans that were blasting me and calling me all sorts of names when I said Arsenal is the strongest team in the EPL

That Man Utd showed how to match Liverpool bumper to bumper and Tottenham copied the template

They called me names because Arsenal lost to Man Utd by penalties

What happened today
Same spurs were beaten by the Gunners

I let the season progress sha!!

Liverpool still has a game at hand. If they win it, that's 7 points lead on top of the EPL table. I still believe City is a better contender than Arsenal. Arsenal that knows when to disappoint grin

How can the strongest team in the EPL be second when they should be first? grin The league has been won already by the strongest and that's Liverpool, like it or not. I think Forest is a better contender than Arsenal and they might shock us all. Remember Forest has two UCL for the record.

Arteta played a 9man United with his 12players plus side ref and yet couldn’t win Man U so stop the ranting.

Spurs is lacking 5 of their 6 first team defenders, 3 CBs, LB, and GK. The defence is made up of Porro at RB, Gray an 18yr old DM at CB, Dragusin, Djed a RB playing LB and Kinsky a new GK. Their defence will appear poor. The problem is attack. Son has been poor this season. Johnson is not the type of winger they need. Maddison is an overrated player due to his lack of consistency. They are still work in progress.

I guess man u fans are having problems with arithmetics, some dey say 10 , na 9 be your own😂😂😂...
Also I guess Arteta played your same 9 men in the previous blue and black beatings 4 games in a row... only deluded United fans believe u played so well against Arsenal and not the most lucky team in the world that night, btw ,second leg Epl u go chop am again....and we will see what the mediocre United go play against dia fellow relegation companion Southampton tonight😂😹

I never said Arsenal have won there remaining matches

But having watched this season
Arsenal are the strongest team

Will they carry it?
That's the main question
If they can fight till end
Although history shown them to be bottlers when it mattered most

Hopefully they don't bottle it
Unlike other time's
fighting to the end
It will definitely make the season
Very very interesting!!
