Dude, nobody wants or wanted to leave until reality about 9ja future set in.
Look for decent countries where you can get a full scholarship. Some scholarships na scam. It may just be 15% rebate.

With tuition fees and may be some maintenance costs out of the way, you can focus on your studies and side income.

Otherwise select a destination, look for a skill shortage area in that country and acquire it with some experience.

In the meantime, you may consider converting your 7m into dollars to hold value. You never know.

Look widely, including Scandinavia, and Brazil, if you like languages. Consider your medium and long term goals too.

No course is entirely useless. People do Health Sociology and become part of healthcare campaigns and outreach.

During Covid-19, many young black professors/experts interviewed on CNN and NBC about the disproportionate impact of it on black and ethnic minority groups in USA were sociologists and psychologists.

Most advanced countries have a vibrant social welfare system so i dont think sociology is as bad as we are painting it here. Social workers have a good rep and sociology is a good starting point but that N7m may need some improving upon.

Nope. You're wrong. Sociology is not a prefered course anywhere in the world. Most universities offered it as a minor and not a major degree. A Sociology degree will leave you unemployed even in US and you will end up needing a masters to even become a teacher and when you count your student loan and interest, you will be in shock for the rest of your life. Nigerian universities should do away with course like Sociology, philosophy, languages as a major degrees cos it can't play bills. Higher education is an investment and when return on investment is lower, time to prioritize.

if you do your research very well, you will still find universities in Italy with tuition between €3000-€4000. To be realistic, 7m is not enough for the whole process.

I'll advise that you sell the land first and have the money in cash. keep it somewhere that you can't touch. try uk masters , you can pay first quarter of the tuition and work with your body and soul to pay the rest of the tuition

Three years ago i moved out of Nigeria to the Gambia with way less than 7m .. after buying an air ticket to Banjul I was left with roughly 1.3m in 2022 ..
I did my survey got my residency permit after three months and started a car wash on a busy road . Daily I get about 3500 to 4000 dalasi as raw profit if the day too bad i go fi see like 2000, my car wash is not standard ooo but God showed me mercy . If your money aint enough to get you to Europe bro look for an African country with a stable growing economy..
