Naija! What a mess!

This is the nation we are asking foreigners and diasporans to come and invest their hard-earned money in...!

We are not yet serious as a nation.

Everything, Lagos!

Can everything and everyone relocate to Lagos?!!

Can Lagos stay untouched by the wave of insecurity plaguing the entire nation?!! For how long will Lagos stay 'safe'?

You guys should better tell your leaders to wake the fvck up!

You can't lead Nigeria in isolation or in parts... It's all or none! Especially since we have refused to decentralise key sectors like security and resource control.

Before Apc came into power, insecurity was highest in less than 30% of the nation... Today, we have over 70% of the nation already overwhelmed.

How soon before your "precious" Lagos is overwhelmed?!!

Better wake up!

I hope they are all rescued. So many bad news this year already and we are just 14 days into it

I heard the expatriate have been retrieved
It's sad indeed. The spot where this happened is a very busy spot. I don't know how kidnappers are bold enough to operate there. Soldiers having their base less than 2km from that spot makes one wonder how?
2km isn't small distance

They might not be kidnappers, they could possibly be police anti kidnapping unit who are usually in mufti.....the police would readily conceal this info if they were responsible for fear of public backlash....that place is a very busy place and the possibility of having kidnappers operate there is quite strange.

Nah police don't operate in that area. It's largely industrial. Police checkpoint is like 2min drive. So it can't be police chasing a hilux carrying an expatriate

Until firing squad start, all these rubbish won't end.
When is Tinubu killing kidnappers, murderers, that are killing people in Nigeria?
Do we need to teach Tinubu how to order for execution of people troubling our peace?

Why are you not thinking of those who want Soludo out at all cost so that they can get to power Before the election that made him governor, do you remember how armed men attacked him in his village and killed so many people?
And for 3 years, it did not occur to Soludo to do something about insecurity.
Re: Expatriate, Others Missing As Vehicle Fleeing Kidnappers Plunges Into River by fashrola(m): 9:55pm On Jan 14, 2025
It’s worrisome that most of these kidnappers are in government payrolls, these are the same boys those politicians love using during election period.

When you travel out, you will definitely know that Nigeria is a such a terrible place to live when it comes to insecurity and accountability.

I traveled to Angola (Cabinda) and I bet you, the white expatriate walks and jogs around with no armed escort on site, Almost all the banks has no fence with no metal protectors (Just glass) and their lights inside the banking halls are left on even after business hours.

Their military men do not hold guns and extra friendly, I’m not sure I’ve even seen police men patrolling or mounting roadblock, that’s how to know that the country is very safe and the citizens behaves well because justice can’t be bought with money over there.

Nigeria has a lot of work to do……

He is not stvpid, but you should know that what he said is actually the truth because a whole lot of asari dokunbo boys are now doing silly things to rise in rank, expatriate seen in south south regions are already been profiled they are in the oil and gas sector. Nigeria is in a critical situation let pray for inec to do the right and for once all youth should be united to do the right thing once and for all.

I think we should start executing criminals especially armed robbers, ritual killers and kidnappers immediately they’re caught…no need to dey waste time carry them go court…just kill them inmediately…it will act as a deterrant

Re: Expatriate, Others Missing As Vehicle Fleeing Kidnappers Plunges Into River by nwirinedu(m): 9:12am On Jan 15, 2025
The Eleme, Onne Ikot Abasi road has been disused due it being in poor shape over the years, this has encouraged kidnappers to operate due to the bad nature of the road, police patrol teams no longer stay there because of low collections due to low traffic.

Were that road fixed this shouldn't happen. Kidnappers only have the boldness to operate in broad daylight because there is no police presence in the road, many road transport companies going to Akwa ibom , Crossriver,Eket and Oron have abandoned that route.

Its an irony that the agency responsible for providing security on that road is receiving an award from SERVICOM.

Why cant FG fix that road? The Port there generates one of the highest revenues in the country yet connecting roads have been neglected for the last 10 years.

So because you relocated to a country where you are considered a lesser human being you feel you are better than anybody. Aturu I travel to those countries for training and conferences. So it's nothing new
And for your info some of us use solar as backup and some are even off grid. Secondly there is no fuel scarcity here

Let me summarize it for you. I won't leave a very comfortable life to travel abroad to be living that useless life people like you live.
