That landmark owner thinks he's smart but he's not at all, he wants to act like a Mafia boss but he's still a learner. Going to different states with shorelines and then bribing the Governors to grant his access to the land. I think his lawyer will educate him that All shorelines in the country belongs to the federal government, most importantly, 250m of the shorelines automatically belongs to the FG.
With the greed in his eyes, I do not have any pity for him, I only pity the stakeholders that have invested their money in his business, the banks that borrowed him money knows how to get back their money if he enters trouble with those state governors.
Illiterate keep quiet, you talk like you lack common sense.

How much does he have to bribe a sitting governor?

The dispute here is over 2 communities laying claims to the area, and you are calling out landmark.

He stated that in reaction, Ikpaisong Akoiyak, began the demolition of all unwanted structures – both government and private – on the land, adding that “on 28 February 2024 more than 40 private homes, schools, guest houses and churches were demolished.

He said, “On November 14, 2024, Government Primary School, Government Health Centre and government farm which were all under construction were demolished by the group.

Clap for yourself for your bigoted/hateful comments.

The problem in Akwa Ibom is less volatile than Lagos where the company is subsumed in ethnic and political war. What's happening in Akwa Ibom could be settled with few talks and compromises. Unlike Lagos where the company is confronted with supremacist ethno religious agenda.

All these problems started after epic 2023 presidential elections where the landlord and presumed builder of Lagos faced crushing defeat. Since then, any businesses owned by the other divide is termed anathema and unwanted. That's what is playing out.

Let's see where this level of hate will take us to.

I am sure he does not ask for your pity. Please pity yourself that is struggling to buy a cup of rice.
if you had read his comment carefully, you would know that he is not attacking him but warning him of his greed. All shoreline up to 250m belongs to the FG and state governors have no say over it. Let him be wise this time. We don't want to hear that $500 million property was destroyed by the FG due to trespass of land

Lagos gave him everything from the venture funds to the beach he is located, Lagos made him. Just be aware that FG can wake up tomorrow morning and decide to make use of the shoreline of Eket /Ibeno beach for a project and there's nothing anyone can do about it.
