Africa is a slum. People that can't buy shovel want to demolish a resort. In a saner clime,.just one official approval is enough, but here, you will pay royalties, youths, agberos, youth leader boys, women groups, ground fee etc. Even when the project is even completed how many of them can even lodge there?

Who rented Lagos shorelines to him?
Do you more than state government?

Is it FG that is in control of Lagos shorelines?
Shoreline where he errect facilities belongs to the state not the ocean.
Your are too ignorant. The issue he had in Lagos was with the FG, not state Government. But the Landmark Boss was trying to play the ethnic card to make it look like he was been victimized by the Lagos Government. If he does not do a proper check again, he would encounter the same problem he had in Lagos again.

You may allow someone trespass on your father's land & build on it without recognizing your ownership of the land. That makes you a patriotic Nigerian.

Landmark better be careful, if this governor eventually have his way and another Governor comes in and then demolish your investments , I don't want to hear shouts of witch hunt and marginalization on nairaland oh.

Leave their beach and look elsewhere. A word is enough.

LASG did not rent the shoreline to anybody, they are not even the owner of the shoreline but FG. Landmark guy only took advantage of the land space & set up structures on it until the owner, the FG gave him the boots in the butt.

That landmark owner thinks he's smart but he's not at all, he wants to act like a Mafia boss but he's still a learner. Going to different states with shorelines and then bribing the Governors to grant his access to the land. I think his lawyer will educate him that All shorelines in the country belongs to the federal government, most importantly, 250m of the shorelines automatically belongs to the FG.
With the greed in his eyes, I do not have any pity for him, I only pity the stakeholders that have invested their money in his business, the banks that borrowed him money knows how to get back their money if he enters trouble with those state governors.
Someone that his entire generation can never be like Land mark owner is pitying him.

Pity yourself first

And the Coastal highway is an FG project, he is not the only investor that was affected, but he makes it look as if the issue was between him and Lagos state Government.

Lagos gave him everything from the venture funds to the beach he is located, Lagos made him. Just be aware that FG can wake up tomorrow morning and decide to make use of the shoreline of Eket /Ibeno beach for a project and there's nothing anyone can do about it.
You have not touched on my worry about Lagos.

You seem to be proud of your stupidity.

The problem is not Landmark, but the locals who are fighting for a change of name from what it is known for to another. This is the same issue with the ibom deep sea port and oron people.

Ignorance is a disease.

Nigeria need peace not wars.
This investment should be welcomed and a political solution should be found in order for progress to reign.
. The problem with those Eket beasts is that Ibeno people are Ijaw people and Eket people has been calling them tenants cause of state creation that made them a minority in Akwa Ibom.

They've been blockading the roads to Ibeno, destroying properties for months and years now.
Ijaw people just dey look them.
When Ijaw go ready for them, dem go see wetin dem dey find and their body go calm down.

There's something fundamentally wrong with the black man and especially most Nigerians.
A Nigerian calling another Nigerian a tenant is madness to begin with.
They are never bothered about development but always fighting for useless petty things that will do absolutely nothing for them in the long run.

It is this same behaviour that has reduced Warri, a once bubbling and developing town to nothingness.
Imagine something that will bring development to Akwa Ibom state, the beasts are threatening to destroy it cause of the name that is rightfully where the beach is.

Imagine a beach in Epe, Ikorodu people are threatening to destroy it that it should not be called Epe beach cause Ikorodu people think Epe people are tenants.

Madness
