That landmark owner thinks he's smart but he's not at all, he wants to act like a Mafia boss but he's still a learner. Going to different states with shorelines and then bribing the Governors to grant his access to the land. I think his lawyer will educate him that All shorelines in the country belongs to the federal government, most importantly, 250m of the shorelines automatically belongs to the FG.
With the greed in his eyes, I do not have any pity for him, I only pity the stakeholders that have invested their money in his business, the banks that borrowed him money knows how to get back their money if he enters trouble with those state governors.
He was never compensated for the demolitions.
I am happy he found another location, I only hope this dispute settles.

Haters will always wait to hear bad news, evil is like oxygen to them. If they don't find something to hate, they kpai.

If landmark succeeds, it invalidates their existence, they exist to hate anything about progress.

What they can't make, they kill!
Their only wish is for him to fail like in their Lagos.

Actually his Lagos demolition became a blessing in disguise for Him
2 West African countries president gave Him Land to build of his resort

Another East African country
Gave Him Land to build another resort

Most of you lots are funny

This is just the beginning of that guys rise

As for this present case
He will be very wise
In avoiding investing in all those
Areas where there's hostility
Like this Akwa Ibom case
He should better go to where his business is protected

He should be compensated for putting illegal shanties on a beach front that doesn't belong to him?. Was his main structures demolished?

You seem to be proud of your stupidity.

The problem is not Landmark, but the locals who are fighting for a change of name from what it is known for to another. This is the same issue with the ibom deep sea port and oron people.

Ignorance is a disease.
You're a slowpoke, he's not the problem renting a land under disputes and paying the wrong people. It could even be a gang up between him & the corrupt officials that collected money from him

This landmark guy needs to find out and rectify why people are against him everywhere he goes. I am beginning to think there is more to his misfortunes.
Re: Akwa Ibom Group Threatens Landmark Beach Resort Demolition Over Ownership Tussle by MrEverest(m): 9:27pm On Jan 16, 2025
Shut up your ewedu mouth, you be mumu. Landmark has already secured nice places in Rivers and Enugu. Anambra beach is there in Anambra and Oguta is there in Imo also waiting for him. He has secured in Gambia too. But you think this rubbish land tussle will affect him?

FYI, it's the community and the state that loses, not Landmark because they've got lots of alternative options! Thank God this is happening at the preliminary stage when he hasn't invested a dime. He will simply walk away and leave them to chop their beach.

It's paining you that Landmark has ignored your toxic region to be investing everywhere else, awon accommodators🤣🤣

They are all driven by hate and bigotry. Lagos demolition of Landmark assets has become a blessing in disguise. Many people outside Lagos never knew of Landmark until they decided to destroy his assets, and the man was smart enough to give it massive publicity. The news went viral across Nigeria and beyond. It immediately cast Lagos as a dangerous place to invest and the Landmark brand became massively popular. He has used that popularity and goodwill to grow his brand massively.

Whatever he lost in Lagos, he has gained back ten fold!

Do you have sense at all? Your bias and hatred for Landmark is making you lump him in an issue that is between the community and the state government.

This one has nothing to do with deliverance. The landmark man is not a sincere person.initially he was claiming over $200m demolition in Lagos, last week he claimed it's $30m.The man shouldn't encroach on FG territory again and claim victimization.I reside in Benin city and we don't have any beach here.wether his beach in Akwa ibom and enough succeed is not of my business.
You don't have sense at all. Tribalism is making you guys reason like dense individuals. This case has nothing to do with Landmark at all. You people are just hate filled.

Lagos gave him everything from the venture funds to the beach he is located, Lagos made him. Just be aware that FG can wake up tomorrow morning and decide to make use of the shoreline of Eket /Ibeno beach for a project and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

What you are saying in essence is that no one should invest in our shorelines since FG can take over the land anytime they wish?

Of course all shorelines belong to the FG. It is the first line of defense for a country

All shorelines belong to the FG. That was why they had the powers to destroy landmarks beach. Just because they don't have interest in it today doesn't mean they will not tomorrow

The recent Supreme Court judgment gave the right of the ownership of the shoreline to the Federal Government under the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), 250 meters from the point of the shoreline belongs to the FG under NIWA which means the land belongs to the FG.14 Apr 2024
