DMerciful:It's not as the culprits are still living in denial |

All the culprits are dead for over 40yrs helinues: |

DMerciful:So because of that, we shouldn't relay the history right? |

Side note: Nzeogwu Chukwuma Kaduna was buried with military honours in Kaduna, his body lies there today. I wonder why no one brings that up |

You were going round in circles helinues: |
| Re: Remembrance Day: Who Are The Victims, Who Are The Villains by helinues(op): 8:52am On Jan 17, 2025 |
DMerciful:That's what you did on this thread. You are not interested in admitting the facts that the 1966 was Igbo's coup as they are the highest beneficiary |
| Re: Remembrance Day: Who Are The Victims, Who Are The Villains by DMerciful(m): 8:56am On Jan 17, 2025 |
Before 1966 Jan, the North was 25%, East 25%, West 25% and Midwest 25%. By 1967, the North became 50% (6 states) and the West, East and Midwest became 50% combined( 6 states) . This is what Gowon did. Now the North is 19 states plus Abuja and the South is 17 states. Who benefited? helinues: |
| Re: Remembrance Day: Who Are The Victims, Who Are The Villains by helinues(op): 8:57am On Jan 17, 2025 |
DMerciful:You are being deliberately mischievous. We are talking about 1966 not 1967 |
| Re: Remembrance Day: Who Are The Victims, Who Are The Villains by DMerciful(m): 8:59am On Jan 17, 2025 |
Igbos benefitted nothing but war. The North benefitted because they took over from 1966 and restructure Nigeria to increase their percentage stake from 25% to 50% helinues: |

DMerciful:Aguiyi Ironsi was from where? |
| Re: Remembrance Day: Who Are The Victims, Who Are The Villains by Mbanda(m): 9:00am On Jan 17, 2025 |
MASTAkiLLAh:Thank you my brother. This gbas gbos reno and helinues is desperately looking for, must surely end up in fracas between Igbos and some tribes or maybe the north. And when that happens I trust my people they will retaliate, and when they retaliate it is this same helinues and his god (reno) that will still hip all the blames on Ndigbo. Reason is because the demons that are looking for Ndigbo trouble don't want them to ever retaliate or say something in defense of themselves. |
| Re: Remembrance Day: Who Are The Victims, Who Are The Villains by DMerciful(m): 9:01am On Jan 17, 2025 |
What did he do for Igbos in the 5months before he was killed? helinues: |
| Re: Remembrance Day: Who Are The Victims, Who Are The Villains by helinues(op): 9:02am On Jan 17, 2025 |
Mbanda:You people shouldn't be deliberately mischievous. I deliberately stayed out of the discussion on the remembrance day but the continuation of denial prompted this thread which you guys are still doing. The 1966 coup was a selected massacre on other tribes. Leave with that |
| Re: Remembrance Day: Who Are The Victims, Who Are The Villains by helinues(op): 9:03am On Jan 17, 2025 |
DMerciful:He stopped Adaka Boro from seceding from old Eastern Region which Ojukwu was the administrator as that won't allow Ojukwu to have access to old Mid west resources. That was in favour of the Igbo's. |

Laughable! So if Ironsi wasn't there, whoever that is there will let that happen? helinues: |
| Re: Remembrance Day: Who Are The Victims, Who Are The Villains by helinues(op): 9:07am On Jan 17, 2025 |
DMerciful:But Ironsi was there hence this conversation. You asked a question which I answered |
| Re: Remembrance Day: Who Are The Victims, Who Are The Villains by DMerciful(m): 9:08am On Jan 17, 2025 |
He did not do it for the Igbos. He did it to maintain Nigeria's territorial integrity. helinues: |

DMerciful:So Buhari and the herdsmen was for his own benefits bah Una too like to be shifting goal post unnecessarily |
| Re: Remembrance Day: Who Are The Victims, Who Are The Villains by Mbanda(m): 9:11am On Jan 17, 2025 |
helinues:The pretenders are those that claim that Nzeogwu (the leader of the coup) is Igbo but they fail to acknowledge that, the same nzeogwu's home town in present day delta state is Igbo. The pretenders are those that caused the war, and hipped the whole blame on Ojukwu. The pretenders are those that took it upon themselves, to always remember the January 15 coup 1966 as if that was the only coup that has happened in Nigeria since it's creation by the British. Helinues and reno are among the pretenders. |

Which herdsmen? helinues: |
| Re: Remembrance Day: Who Are The Victims, Who Are The Villains by helinues(op): 9:14am On Jan 17, 2025 |
Mbanda:Again, I hate people being deliberately mischievous. Even when Ned was proposing Anioma state and co, I stayed out from the discussion |

DMerciful:Perhaps which cows? |
| Re: Remembrance Day: Who Are The Victims, Who Are The Villains by Mbanda(m): 9:28am On Jan 17, 2025 |
helinues:Stop lying you never stayed out of the discussion in fact, you were on every thread of that discussion saying rubbish. You don't expect the great Igbo tribe to accept what they did not do. Buhari and murtala Muhammad are coup plotters, how many times have you agents of hate and commotion hold the Fulanis accountable for what buhari did? You and tinibu are even among those that worked for buhari. The picture of murtala Muhammad is in your 20 Naira after all the killings. Leave Igbo alone they are not the cause of Nigeria's backwardness. |

DMerciful:The First World War was set off as the reprisal for the Killing of one single Man Archduke Ferdinand of the Austro Hungarian Empire It was the Equivalent of Assasinating Crown Prince William of England Some People Are high Value Targets Assasinating the President Of America can Start a War Sardauna Balewa Akintola Maimalari Ademulegun we’re very high Value Targets because of their Positions Imagine if anyone deliberately happens to attack Sultan of Sokoto, Ooni, Or Oba of Benin The fall out may be beyond the Control of the Security Forces especially if it is believed to be a Tribally or Sectional Targetted attack because they are the representatives of their People Gen Ironsi made a great blunder by not putting the Coup plotters on Trial According to the Military Law of the Time the Coup plotters were supposed to be put On Trial within 10 days and that never happened because Gen Ironsi had hand in the Coup |
