Let’s take my state for example, I’m from the same quarter with Asue Ighodalo in Ewohimi, Esan south East but yet I voted for Monday Okpebolo. I didn’t vote Monday because I know him personally or I like his party, I voted him because he’s been a governor of Esan land before even becoming a governor if you know what I mean. It’s not about favouritism and if he fails to perform, we vote him out. I’m from Edo state, we control our own election and we don’t accuse the opposite of rigging.

But your people see iragbiji land as a safe haven while south east is a land for crime. If you have problems with Iragbiji people then tell your brothers who depend on iragbiji people for survival to move back to their land.

It was an esan affair and most people felt that Obaseki stepped on their toes including shaibu.
