jogojogo:My brother don't mind these people. Most of them online are illiterates and always like looking for sentiment. They think everything is all about Igbo all the time. They never see anything wrong when their people commit crimes and are arrested. |

Na una mouth and gra gra keep that fellow there for so long. You guys are chest beaters. You cannot negotiate, instead you threatened. You can not do that and expect the government to set him free. That would set a bad precedent. Igbos should learn how to play the Nigerian politics and forget about bitterness and chest beating. Nigeria want Igbo to stay in this contraption, Igbo say no. I don't want. I want my own identity because I am distinct. Ikwerres want their own identity because I am distinct, I am not Igbo. Ibos say no, na me get you. You must be my tribe. What you don't eat, don't give to others if it would harm them. |

bigpicture001:Ode. The government can and has the right to maintain status quo if it decides to challenge the lower court rulings up to the apex courts. This is why Kanu was still held in DSS custody until the final supreme court ruling.. My advice to you IPOB cannibals is to stay away from trouble because you will learn the hard way how rigid and powerful the state is. |

This generation X I belong to has never subscribed to the Geneva convention but rather to the FAFO accord - FAFO being : fck around and find out. They should also tell us where a felon that jumped bail and incited violence, destruction and murder of innocent citizen should be allowed to go scot free. Like Isreal that is dealing with the terrorist, which country will allow terror to reign in its clime. I promise N10 million for such finding. Else, we ask Google 😁 |

AntiZikist:Take your time to explain, you don't need to become abusive it's only people who are bereft of ideas or lack the ability to engage in meaningful discussion that do such. Now let us point out the bone of contention. Appeal court freed Kanu on let us say 17th January 2025 Did FG appeal the case in supreme court on 17th January 2025? If not, what is stopping Kanu from being released on 17th January 2025 till when the FG would have successfuly filed the appeal? Let us assume the FG successfully filed the appeal on 18th January 2025, Kanu should have enjoyed 24hrs freedom before being detained if status quo must remain. The above is how to engage in discussion. you can now set out your own counter argument in like manner. We learn every day |

gidgiddy:You mean the Supreme Court right? So if a judge said he should be set free and another superior court say No, they should obey the lower court? Talking about being in detention for long, if an accused jump bail, he is forfeit, he can't be bailed, so setting him free before the conclusion of the case is a nonstarter, no judge will grant him bail, that's a fact. He should blame himself, a man on bail shouldn't step foot in Africa, but he got cocky and here we are. |

It is an illegality that would hunt Nigeria for as long as life endures. But then, it was granted because Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is of Igbo descendants and must suffer, notwithstanding what the law says.”Tpain will not release Osukanu and nothing will happen ![]() |

sparko1:The point is that Nnamdi Kanu was kept in detention for over a year before the superior court said no. In other words, Kanu had a judgement for his release, the judgement was suspended to allow the Nigerian government appeal for one year. If Kanu is convicted today and sent to jail, do you think he will have the right to ask the court to suspend the judgement so he can go for apoeal for a year? No way! They will send him to jail to begin his sentence, and he can appeal from jail. But when Kanu wins in court, they will suspend the judgement, keep him in detention and go for appeal? That's judicial rascality |
