Can I appeal an administrative error by FIRS during my recruitment process for an entry-level role?

I need your advice on this issue. I was told I couldn’t proceed further in the recruitment process because they feel my B.Sc. isn’t confirmed. Here’s what happened:

I graduated with a B.Sc. in Accounting in 2024, but before that, I had already obtained an HND in 2020, which allowed me to complete my NYSC in 2021. During the recruitment process, I uploaded my B.Sc. certificate and my NYSC certificate (dated 2021). I’m guessing this may have caused confusion or led them to think my B.Sc. wasn’t valid since my NYSC date precedes my B.Sc. graduation.

I’ve replied to their email to clarify, but I’m wondering if there’s anything else I can do to appeal this decision or explain myself better. Has anyone experienced something similar, and how did you handle it? Should I keep pushing or just let it go? I’d appreciate any advice.

It's two months or three after receiving of letter (it can differ but this is the general trend) for salaries, as for posting, course, whatever else that follows, shey you didn't collect anyone's number for the documentation place to keep up ni? Relax though.

It's a sad one but the did is done, next time ensure you upload all your educational qualifications that precedes your NYSC even ND too, the problem with such errors is that you will not be there to explain yourself when they are taking their own decisions just like you doing now.
