I'm not denying anything. I am saying the Northerners have more than gotten their pound of flesh in the retaliation they made.

Its enough
will saying sorry kill an Igbo man?

A simple apology from u Igbos would have repositioned u well in Nigeria but just as a northern professor wrote it in his book that

Igbos don't see d needless coup as a mistake so they never felt the need to apologize,so without apology no healing can take place

We don't need 1966!

Who elected Ironsi? Igbos?
Christistruth02:
The First World War was set off as the reprisal for the Killing of one single Man
Archduke Ferdinand of the Austro Hungarian Empire

It was the Equivalent of Assasinating Crown Prince William of England

Some People Are high Value Targets

Assasinating the President Of America can Start a War

Sardauna Balewa Akintola Maimalari Ademulegun we’re very high Value Targets
because of their Positions

Imagine if anyone deliberately happens to attack Sultan of Sokoto, Ooni, Or Oba of Benin
The fall out may be beyond the Control of the Security Forces especially if it is believed to
be a Tribally or Sectional Targetted attack because they are the representatives of their People

Gen Ironsi made a great blunder by not putting the Coup plotters on Trial

According to the Military Law of the Time the Coup plotters were supposed to be put
On Trial within 10 days and that never happened because Gen Ironsi had hand in the Coup

Who do you think prevented Gen Ironsi from putting the Coup plotters on Trial
Within the Stipulated 10 day period in the Military Law at the time?

That is Fake News Propaganda
Was it also Fajuyi that asked Gen Ironsi to introduce unitary law and Regional Autonomy
instead of dealing with the Coup plotters which was the most urgent issue in the highly
tense situation in the Country?

You're running from pillar to post.

Focus on one argument

The decision to not put the Coup plotters on Trial was Gen Ironsi’s own decision

Ironsi spent 5 months on that seat. All the presidents and head of states since 1966, how come Nigeria is in this terrible state?

It's annoying that those who made horrible mistakes in the past are not just interested in being remorseful or sober about it.

The said 1966 coup, who benefited from it, who became the head of state immediately after the coup.

Tribes from almost part of the country celebrated the remembrance day except......

No single tribe ever said something good about those who benefited from the coup, who was in charge after the coup or the people. How is it logical for everyone not to say anything good about you and yet......

The remembrance day issue should rest but those who are villains should stop forming victims..
January 15 is a sober reminder that we are wasting out time with 'one Nigeria' and that the British should never have brought us together. All we have done is kill each other in the millions since then

Nigeria should have been dissolved a long time ago, it's an unworkable British colonial contraption
