waternogatenemy:Lol. FG only only budgeted 1.9 billion for the abia airport. Which won't even be enough to start the airport foundation. To build an airport atleast that is manageable, with this naira devaluation , you will need up to 50 billion plus. Abia will fund most of it |

waternogatenemy:Sorry to say this, you discuss as though you are one of these overzealous political jobbers. . Simple things seems very difficult for you to understand and still yet, you argue with a strong vigor- albeit ignorantly. |

Is Zoo estate still the most expensive estate in Enugu? I went there and apart from the location, I didn't see why it's the most expensive. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cqdlk090_z8 |

waternogatenemy:Things are not that simple as you think...especially when it concerns anything Igbo/south-east and APC gov't! The AIIA int'l terminal that the APC/Tinubu gov't have abandoned is a case in point! Just forget anything happening with the uncompleted hotel at 82 Div....at least for the duration of the present APC gov't! |

This is what I was just stating here now. When I stated that this is a regional thing, some ediots were here arguing nonsense. Enugu has been hit. https://www.nairaland.com/8315260/armed-herdsmen-kidnap-3-soldiers

Landmark Group has signed a deal to take over Nike Lake Resort Enugu in a 35 year lease |

melodyogonna:Hmnn. They mentioned 4 states in Nigeria where they're going to invest. They've mentioned Rivers, now Enugu. I hope Oguta lake in Imo state is among the remaining 2 states. |

waternogatenemy:I read somewhere yesterday that the federal gov't is spending only 1.5 billion naira on that Abia airport! Their initial plan was to build a airstrip, and the Abia state gov't decided to upgrade the plan to a fullscale airport! i'll try and confirm this amount. |

IGBOPROMISE1:You are right with this info |
| Re: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by christejames(m): 12:49pm On Jan 16, 2025 |
MrEverest:That's just strategic and a bullseye for Landmark... Nike Lake Resort is a place where nature meets modernity and its potential will definitely be harnessed by Landmark Group... The Hotel was almost abandoned before the past administration of Gburugburu somewhat brought it back to live together with its sister's hotel at Nsukka; Ikenga Hotel. With few tweaking around the facility, Landmark will ultimately turn it to one of the Grand Resorts in the country. |

christejames:Thanks! You see, i was right in choosing not to not pop champagne when the initial report came out that ‘the Tinubu gov’t is building airport in Abia’, and his propaganda machinery went into overdrive, waxing lyrical about how his gov’t is so ‘benevolent enough to be graciously doing projects for those ungrateful bunch of Igbos’! There’s a good reason why i’m always cynical about any report of APC ‘being fair and balanced’ in anything to do with Ndigbo or the south-east! |

oilykid:More likely to be water pipes. All the mistakes made with the old Enugu should be avoided with this new one they're building. And these include ensuring things like water pipes are layed to reticulate water to all premises; no open gutters; underground cabling; open green areas and at least one park (and i'm not talking about motor park); and they should ensure there's enough space between the walls of properties and the main road so trees and grasses can be planted. |

IGBOPROMISE1:Excellent submission... I just wish this New City will go on to become the best on the continent pushing Eko Atlantic City to the rear, it will go on to open up the Eastern Region of the country to the world. |
