It’s about national security, not competition. China doesn’t allow U.S. apps to operate freely within its borders, so why should Chinese apps be allowed to operate in America? The concern is over data security and potential risks, especially when the Chinese government has control over private companies, potentially exposing sensitive American data or spreading misinformation.

The US government is killing the competition under the guise of National security. If China want to mine information, they don't need tik tok. Hackers have been mining info over the years by attacking major services providers across the US and Europe (power, medical and finance sectors). With the amount of disinformation on X, Facebook and conspiracies, we really think tik tok is the problem?

At 18 trillion dollars, all china needs to do to become largest economy in the world is stop the delebrate devaluation of It's currency.

You Nigeria think too much. If they do that their currency will gain value very high and then their products will become very expensive and then they will loose their market ie poor consumers who go for Chinese products because of the cheaper price. The Chinese economy used their cheap as the leverage to rise to the level they are today and you want them to loose that advantage, you guys are a huge joke.
