App has done more damage than good in some cases, so the ban will definitely have positive effects on society, the extent to which I can't say. FB, YT, and Instagram were still the most used SM apps in the US in 2024 despite the presence of Tiktok, so I doubt Tiktok will be missed much.

Tiktok will never find salvation under Trump's presidency. Its promotion of Islamism and opposition to Western values are significant concerns. Interestingly, China has banned the app within its borders, citing similar worries about islamism and protectionism.
