How can someone with withdraw from POS N5k and pay a service charge of N200 which represents 4% of your own money?
How on earth can you people attack those who are voicing out this abnormalities simply because you don't want anyone to say anything bad about the government even if people are dying.

Hasn't Tinubu Islamise Nigeria yet?

Tinubu, Atiku, OBI, all of em be thieves. Simple!

Dreal1247:
Tinubu supporters NO EVEN GET Sense. Imagine every time Obi speaks, they just start attacking.. Is this a bad statement? Is it not for the welfare and the good of all? Yes. Constructive criticism makes you to commend good and speak against evil. While fools speak against their own welfare thinking that they are attacking Obi. The man has written his name with gold and nothing can change it. The most prudent Governor in the history of Nigeria. Go and check. Anambra State became the best academically because of Mr Peter Obi.

I'm supporting him on this one.

Don't even get me started on the 50 naira levie that POS operators now charges for 10k transaction.

It's absolute madness.

To solve this POS is very easy

Fine banks 5000 per day to be credited to customer if ATM us unable to dispense cash

Simple... If you go to the bank and ATM refuse to pay you because of no money or lack of network you get 5000

Watch how everything would normalize

The problem with Nigeria is lack of consequences for bad actions
well said.

Except the lack of network part.

Unable to dispense cash should have consequences automated consequences.

It will solve the problem instantly.

Obi, this is the first issue he is talking about that I am with him. If all his policies and intentions are pro moving Nigeria forward, why won't everyone follow him. On this issue, I want to say...thank you Mr Obi. Emefiele caused the whole problem, and Cardaso is just going about the bush like he doesn't know what to do. I have been to several places, only in Nigeria POS that is used for electronic retail payments for goods and services is used in Nigeria for withdrawal of cash. Nigeria is a crazy nation. Honestly, Nigerians themselves are desperately wicked. Will Tinubu say he cannot order Cardaso to put a stop to this nonsense?

I don't believe the words of any politician. Until they assume seat and perform well, I have zero trust in what they say. Moreover, I was in Anambra at the time Obi was governor and there was nothing exceptional about his performance. In fact them been de yab am that time no be small.

I will assume you belong to the few ipobs with sense, but make me to understand something, are you telling me that obi that’s been holding top high profile sensitive offices since abacha days did not steal any money but other politicians from other state stole your birth right?? Obi out of sheer hypocrisy quickly ran to put his head down for a 50 million bail for a rouble rouser called dele farotimi just because the lawyer love praising ipobs but nnmadi kanu lives does not matter to him??

Misplaced priority that's what PO is all about.
How can he be bothered about the exorbitant prices of POS operators and he wants to write to PBAT about it!!!!!!

Why can't PO invest in POS terminals and make his own cheaper ?

Why can't he write to PBAT regarding the exorbitant prices of PMS in the country and other petroleum products which has caused a ripple rising negative effect on anything associated to it's use and usage?

The moment the sitting government said they cannot regulate the price of commodity, this is one of the outcome. Our government are bad.

This POS issue is very worrisome

Banks no longer deploy money in their ATM machines, or deploy very little amount.

We are too poor to be withdrawing 200k on top too many charges in the hands of POS people.
..the banks sells or gives these money to POS and receive commissions.. and some of the POS are owned by these bank staffs
Re: Obi To Write Tinubu Over Exorbitant POS Charges by Gbatse: 11:19am On Jan 19, 2025
I expect him to find out first the true operations of POS in totality before he writes to condemn the agents. Else, he may be writing in ignorance.
