Double it of course, you just don’t spend raw income, first use it to purchase highly sorted gadgets and double it, then spend part of your profit only. Knowing the value of money is key
I find this really useful. Can you kindly mention a few of the highly sorted gadgets I can venture into as a starter . Also I will like you to mention gadgets that will move in matter of days . How to get them and how much capital ( the minimum) to start . Thank you. 😊

Why dis guy Dey grandstand in Ignorance sef?
Majority argue based on what they know and refuse to learn. That is @op's problem.

The world has gone beyond a 9-5 work with bla bla bla degree.
Op should know that people that work remotely evade tax and don't wait for government or one company before they hit a gig.

Learn ok. My oga in the business I work with make more than 3m monthly on legit online business without company's salary.
When you open a thread, allow people to suggest and not tackle every opinion with ignorance.
God be with us all in our chosen profession.

In all, stay legit.

How much do you think oil and gas pay.
Shell, NNPC, Total, DPR, NPA, FIRS, NPDC, NLNG ETC. Just stop that argument. Plenty companies pays that.
Forget Oil Companies.

How many people are they employing?

I remember when I was in University and a lady who had a friend working at Shell, Lagos asked me where I wanted to work after graduation.

I boldly told her Oil Company.

Fast forward to after graduation, they were calling me to send money to the private companies they established.

They didn't even help me get job in an Oil Company.

People that work in Oil forms dont help others so u don't come and earn huge money like they do.

Stop arguing what you don't know.

I am an accountant and the last 2 companies I worked had people earning over a million naira. I can't mention their names for confidentiality sake but know that people earn more than that amount in Nigerian owned companies
You don't have to let them know. They are only looking for means to get classified deets.

No company in Nigeria can pay you such amount monthly unless your business is recording a tremendous amount of success or you're earning in USD.

That's the only way you can hit the 1m mark monthly.
Most Oil & Gas companies pay more that.

Are you talking about Nigeria owned company or companies in Nigeria.

I know more than 50 people that earn over a million per month.

Earning 1m in Nigeria today doesn't mean you are rich. You are just average or even a little bit below average.
This topic has made me realise that there are so many extremely poor people in Nigeria especially on nairaland.

I earn more than that a month and I am still struggling financially.

Don't doubt there are people earning over 1m here. Even with Astropay's shitty exchange rate of $1475 - $1, A million naira is just around $678. For me, I earn mine from social media accounts selling and smart sports betting. I've seen people (although not Nigerians) making over $40k yearly just from selling social media accounts or doing smart betting. The major setback is that you are at the mercy of the greedy bookmakers, and rogue social media managements. I can make over 2m in 30 days, with a single 1xbet account, but will 1xbet allow me? The answer remains NO
can you help one to get more enlightened over the sports betting?

There are companies in Nigeria paying 1m+ to young Nigerians. I have 2 friends working in such. One an oil company (expected), the other a financial services firm. I can't even remember the name of the firm as it is. These people were my inspiration to seek better income as a young banker years ago. They were already in their early 30s at the time and I am sure they were getting 7digit incomes.

There are some coded companies in Nigeria that you would never know. Rendering bespoke services across industries. It is when you network you will hear of firms outside your regular IOCs and banks.
Re: For Those Earning Over ₦1,000,000 Monthly, What Do You Do To Secure Such Income? by stagger: 11:39am On Jan 20, 2025
No company in Nigeria can pay such except you are top management in banking, oil or big conglomerates in Transcorp, etc. No bank CEO in Nigeria earns less than N12m monthly. The women heading Transcorp, Zenith Bank etc are all earning close to N20m a month.

You really need to be close to the company headquarters from the get-go to position yourself to be such an earner.

Bar this, the only way out is to earn remotely from foreign companies. Or you own your own business. Or combine both.

More rantings without any poof to back up your claims.

I doubt if you've ever worked in the cooperate environment. If you have, you won't be making this blind argument. Do you know how much desiel is? Then electricity, tax, miscellaneous...etc.

Do you know the operational cost of running a company in Nigeria today? Most of these people spend billions monthly to keep the business afloat. What is the current spending power of Nigerians that the company would record ground breaking profit to be able to pay an average staff 1m?

Look at kuda, OPAY and palmpay. These companies have millions of customers and record daily transactions reaching billions of naira. Yet I can tell you that the average salary of their staff isn't up to 300k per month. And you're here talking about 1m.

Like I said you know nothing about the cooperate environment. And this would be my last reply to you.
Your stand is really more realistic than the guys attacking you. The cost of running a business in Nigeria today is just not encouraging. I run on solar I have not bought fuel or diesel 2 months, yet inflation and crazy price fluctuation not allowing for maximum profit.
