They don't serve purpose really, Tiktok is more or less a video sharing app while 'X' is more. 'X' covers video, audio, polls, chats, news sharing, opinions, engagements and more

Almost all organizations and govts in the world has an 'X' handle, how many of these are on Tiktok?

Just say you don't like Trump, chikena!
I love Trump doesn't mean I shouldn't air my opinion.

2023 revenue is 54%, what are you saying? Do you know what it means to be more than half of the world revenue? Just one country? That's super power position know that. Go do your fact check properly.
2023, not 2024. TikTok has a lot of potentials are bound to grow. Taking US out is possible. Is the exclusion of Twitter in China makes Twitter unprofitable? Do you know the subscriber base Twitter will get in China if it breaks in?

So excluding a big chunk does not mean it’s over!

Huawei leads in Telecoms despite Europe and North America ban! How about that?

BYD does not have a market in same in US and next to Tesla which is bound to overthrow in 2025

So the US market is not all.

America is the mystery Babylon the mother of all harlots the Bible spoke about. Without them most countries of the world cannot stand. Eventually it's allies will turn against it and destroy it.

The dumbest businessman cannot be that foolish. Trade his algorithm for a single country. TikTok would do well without the US.

Taken it out completely will only make RedNote more popular which is a more Chinese app

The West are so scared of competition . They detest it.

Once they see competition, they start framing it up. From Huawei to BYD, and now TikTok
Trash Any app without USA is rubbish

The Play Store, App Store, and Microsoft Store are all owned by US companies. If these platforms were to shut down TikTok, the apps you download from web browsers could potentially be malicious therefore leaving you vulnerable to attacks.

You think those guys sitting in front of their laptops are just playing around? They'll inject malicious code into an app, and you'll think you're downloading the normal TikTok, not realizing it's malicious.

Don't underestimate the US man they've already established a global monopoly

You can take an app away globally. It only applies to the US App Store.

Do you want them to lose the market share?

Let’s imagine they take it away, who loses out in the long run? Do you know how many people will switch to Huawei just to have access to TikTok?

The market does not the way you stated. If they do, they will lose sales in a market they are struggling to compete.

While your concern about market share is valid, you should note that app availability on the US App Store has significant ripple effects globally. If a popular app like TikTok were removed, it would undoubtedly impact users worldwide, not just in the United States. However, it's crucial to recognize that the success of platforms like the Play Store, App Store, and Microsoft Store stems from their commitment to user safety and trust.

Ensuring that apps are free from malicious code is a priority, and if a compromise is detected, removing the app, even temporarily, protects users. Additionally, while some users might switch to other devices like Huawei to access TikTok, many will remain loyal to their current platforms due to a combination of ecosystem benefits, security, and convenience.

Ultimately, maintaining a safe and trusted environment can outweigh short-term market fluctuations and help in building long-term consumer trust and loyalty

US will remove it from Appstore and Playstore. You won't see it to download.

Before they lifted the ban yesterday, download and update was already suspended...

Tiktok will only be available to download on only Huawei phones. That would have been the end of Tiktok if the ban was not lifted
RedNote is on playstore, the same RedNote that you have to pledge allegiance to China in order to use. So the idea that they would remove Tiktok and leave RedNote is unfeasible.

If they start that, countries would start interfering in social media apps. It would be the arms race all over again and USA would ultimately lose.

Take Huawei for example. It was banned in North America and Europe and STILL leads the market.

Take BYD as another example. It has no market in Europe and North America but second to Tesla. If Microsoft. Apple and Google sabotage any app, they are just aiding the birth of another OS that will replace them- and you know underestimating China is dangerous.

What's my business with whatever you're talking about?

It was Americans that needed tiktok to make money, go and see how they're all crying because their source of income has been shut down by the owners with balls.

Microsoft, Apple, and Google have established robust ecosystems that offer a seamless user experience, extensive app libraries, and strong developer communities. These factors contribute to user loyalty and make it challenging for new operating systems to gain traction quickly.

Additionally, any attempt to undermine the dominance of these US companies would require substantial investment, innovation, and time. While China's potential is noticeable, it would still be a formidable task to replicate the comprehensive ecosystems provided by established OS platforms.

it was once predicted that China would become the world's largest economy, they are yet to achieve this status despite over a decade. This is partly because of the perception that they produce substandard products and overproduce to stay competitive. Despite these efforts, they haven't managed to surpass the US economy even for a fact the US economy was badly hit by the COVID at the time when china had fully recovered and it’s economy was still running. Therefore, the idea that a US ban on TikTok would cause significant loss to the US seems exaggerated. The broader market dynamics and quality perceptions play a crucial role in determining this things, you can’t take that away overnight
