During the campaign for APC primaries, he said and did a few things about Mr Tinubu that left a lot to be desired. He thought he was Mr Buhari's golden boy, and felt confident the former President would support him. That support never came. Even after Mr Tinubu's triumph, he went to Mr Amaechi's House to visit as part of reconciliation, yet Mr Amaechi has remained recalcitrant. He is now completely irrelevant. If he gets any relevance in the future, it will likely be restricted to Rivers State. As far as national politics within APC is concerned, I can't see a way back for him. Politicians don't forgive and forget arrogant behaviour. The Tinubu boys won't look past his shenanigans. 1 Like |

You can't predict Nigerian politics. Everyone thought he was going to get Buhari's backing. Now he is somewhere nursing his disappointment. When he wants to come back to the limelight he will become a human right activist for a few months, ride on the popularity to power and abandon the common man again. |
