The meeting was not about pipeline vandalism but about how to resume crude oil production in Ogoniland land after about 30 years.

We have over 100 oil wells hooked to 5 flow stations wasting away untapped since around 1995. If Tinubu can pull this off, it will be a big victory for the country. We are looking at an immediate addition of around 150k-200k bpd to our production. Big win for Rivers State, Big win for Nigeria.
The Ogoni crises that year that led to death sentence of Ogoni leaders then ended the oil exploration in mid 90s. Alongside the issues of Shell.

But there is still abundant oil well there. Truly, Rivers state is blessed with oil.

Let's break down the key players involved in the meeting between the President, the Minister and Fubara. It's clear that the meeting aimed to inform Ogoni stakeholders about the Federal Government's plan to resume oil exploration in their area.

On Governor Fubara's side, former Senator Lee Maeba was present, which is notable since Maeba didn't support or campaign for Fubara during his election. On the other hand, the Minister's team included several prominent figures, such as:

- *Former Senators*: Magnus Abe, Olaka Nwogu
- *Current APC National Vice Chairman (SS)*: Victor Giadom
- *Senate Committee Chairs*: Senator Barry Mpigi (Chairman, Senate Committee on Works and Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Host Communities)
- *Former Minister*: Kenneth Kobani
- *Other notable figures*: Chief Ejoor, Hon. Marcus Nnleji, and Honourable Fred Kpakol

Interestingly, the Ogoni elites seem to be rallying behind the FCT Minister, likely due to their ambition to secure the governorship seat in 2027. Given that they form the largest bloc in the governor's senatorial district, it's possible that if Fubara is removed, his replacement might come from the same district. Definitely, interesting times ahead.

Prove him wrong. Obio Akpor, Port Harcourt, Emuoha, Ikwerre, Etche, Omuma, Okirika and Tai. On a conservative estimate this is over 50% of Rivers vote.

Big win my azz. It's only big win for the politician. Since oil discovery what impact or achievement has Nigeria achieved with oil money? It's one loot to the other.

If I look at the stage Nigeria, China and UAE was 30 years ago and how they look today I weep bitterly for the country.

what do you know about Rivers state? Do you have the list of registered voters? I have warned you small boy to stop talking about things you know nothing about, There are 3 million registered voters in Rivers state, obio/Akpor has 600k voters, Phalga has 400k, other Lgas like Emuoha, ikwerre, etche , omuma, okrika and ogubolo which falls under wikes District have a little over a 100k, obio and phalga alone has 1 million out of 3m, you think it's uhuru for fubara? If wike is given the go ahead who is going to stop him and his boys from deciding the votes in the 4 Ikwerre LGAs with block votes? Did you vote for fubara? Do you know how fubara was made governor? Only Emuoha alone gave fubara 20k votes which is more than the vote from opobo and other ijaw areas.
We will reply Ipobidients supporting Fubara at the appropriate time. Fubara became governor via Ikwerre votes. The Ijaws blocks voted Tonye Cole. Ogoni voted Magnus.

Be calming down. The 1 million you claim in PHALGA and OBIO/AKPOR are those solely votes from Rivers people?

The other LGAs you mentioned have mainly votes from Rivers people. Unless you are praying that Inec will just be imputing figures, else in a free and fair election Igbos(from the SE) and Ikwa Ibomites who are the majority in those 2 LGAs will decide who wins if they really want to vote.

The last time that those set didn't come out that much for election, what was the result? You dey carry non indegines votes dey brag.
We usually tell voters from SE to go to their respective states to vote in the kind of governors they want in Rivers State. If South East becomes a better place to stay naturally they will all drift back home.

Nobody cares I they are solely Rivers people, those places are ikwerre areas and wike can do whatever he wants in those areas, same way he did it for sim, nobody can stop him, those are his strongholds. Remember town criers went round and instructed people to stay away if they are not voting sim in obio and phalga
SIM forgot this. What he did was to take Mbata to Ohaneze.

yes but do you expect sim to win in any of the ikwerre areas if wike is given the go ahead to deliver his candidates? I hope you're aware that ikwerre Kings, chiefs and stakeholders still have soft spot for wike? Ogoni area is already a done deal, go and ask magnus Abe, there was no election in his place but result was announced for sim, social media is not real life.
Fubara has given Wike that edge. You see Sim nominating Mbata leaving his opobo people that is obvious have indigenous Igbo population to ikwerre where it is a controversial issue will be awakened in time to come.

igbo man from Abia state, its not up to you, you don't even know how fubara was made governor, you were not part of the process and you were not at the collation center were the final result was announced, if BAT no fall wike hands, its very easy to remove sim, ordinary LGA election, sim no sleep for one week.
It seems you're admitting that Wike is nothing without BAT

I used 75% because voters do not really turn up in the Riverine areas, in BVAS era they produce just 3k to 7k votes. 55% will be more appropriate.
