Unfortunately, from the pictures, the people that were called were more of politicians than the real people of Ogoni kingdom i hope the people will be carried along instead of these chop-I-chop politicians else the whole thing might end up being a waste of time The focus should not be oil as it seems to be the driving force but more importantly environmental restoration, economic resuscitation and social justice for Ogoniland instead of the audio declarations the minister is making Also, the oil wells should not become another national cake to settle friends and cronies. The indigenes should benefit from the allocation of oil wells as well. That is where the big issue is cause we know how Ebilokan does his thing. Lagos-Calabar highway of fraud is an example |

What we will experience in the next 6 years,I'm not saying things will be cheaper but governance will see a turnaround and we will see the difference between then and the last 25years.hope we see the difference between growth and development, there is no real benefit for the masses in economic growth but development will bring about capacity and opportunities for masses to thrive and explore, which will make life more easy for everyone in the long run.some of the policies under the leadership are already yielding but they won't make rice cheaper as some of us think.positioning the country in a way that it can grow is key,we can't keep living like no future. |

As an Ijaw Man, I have seen the injustice done to the Niger Delta environment since 1956 when Oil was discovered in Oloibiri in Bayelsa State. Crude oil is more of a curse to the people of the Niger Delta than a blessing. To this end, do I really want Oil production to start in Ogoni? The answer is Yes! The reason is that, the many individuals that will work in the exploration will be from Ogoni. I will not mention the other employment opportunities for the Ogoni's. This is why I will support oil production in Ogoni. |

Commendable, but let's keep politics completely of this initiative, For instance Wike didn't have any business in that meeting as he's no more the state governor and he's not from the ogoni ethnic region, but for want of unnecessary relevance, he made sure he was there just for the gram, Next thing, Wike will want to be dictating the flow of the ethnic discussions through his cronies who are from ogoni, so they don't miss out on the eventual glory, and add it to their CV for 2027 bargain, Now this can cause a lot of division, with diverse interest, b4 u say Jack, the effort will all collapse in our faces, Keep politics out of ogoni re-entry, it's a very sensitive issue for the ogonis, and most importantly, keep Wike out! |

Good we hope it is done, we will keep supporting president Tinubu because of our role model Princess Faith Chukwu of which his enemies are against her but she is being victorious. Princess Faith Chukwu |

In the year Ken Saro Wiwa and 8 other Ogoni leaders were arbitrarily killed by Abacha's government, I can still recollect I was in SS2 back then in secondary school. This is 30 years later, yet the same environmental problems and unjust treatments still persist. I hope and pray it is finally resolved this time. 🙏 |

OBJ 8 years, couldn't do anything in Ogoni land. Jonathan, son of the soil, 6 years in the saddle, couldn't bring peace and development to the land. Baba Buhari, 8 years in charge, awarded the clean-up contract but couldn't bring crude exploration back to the oil rich ogoni land. PBAT, only 2 years on the seat, he has pushed aside politics to deliver progress for ogoni land, Rivers State, and our country! Tinubu no be your mate, I beg! |
