President Tinubu Appoints Opeifa as MD, Nigeria Railway Corporation

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR has appointed Dr Kayode Opeifa as the Managing Director of the Nigeria Railway Corporation (@info_NRC), a decision widely praised for its strategic importance. Dr. Opeifa, a seasoned transportation expert and former Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, has built a distinguished career marked by impactful reforms. As Commissioner, he introduced policies that significantly improved public transport and traffic management in Lagos, one of Africa’s busiest cities. Whenever Tinubu makes an appointment and the above phrase is used, one might think that the decision would result in success for the country. However, history has shown that the appointee ends up becoming a huge disaster, performing woefully.

Tinubu ensured all his former men in good standing with him are rewarded at National level. It is good, I'm happy at this glaring nepotism. No other president will give them these appointments.

I believe in fairness. Unfortunately Yorubas have been treated unfairly since 2007 - no COAS, IGP, DSS, EFCC, NIS, NCS, NCoS, NSCDC etc etc

No matter what Tinubu does/doesn't, it won't change anything when another president takes over. embarassed
