Can you name one thing Nigerians are benefitting from this government?

Something tangible and what's is down to the local level?

Some other governments Nigerians enjoyed free education, reduced cost of petrol, cheap commodities in the market, etc??

So who can point out one thing Nigerians are benefitting from BAT government
What did Nigerians benefitted under Obj, that useless drunk called Jonathan.....that clueless Buhari?
.Tinubu just got there. What do you expect him to do ? Wave a magic wand . And clean the mess from 1999 - 2023? Popular saying "To destroy is very easy, but build required lots of work....

University education in public institutions is highly subsidized. The actual cost of training one student runs into millions annually. But the nigerian government's subsidy on education which is not something they shout about allows citizens get cheap tertiary education unlike in so called saner clime where it is far more expensive.

There was subsidy on dollar until it was removed by this administration, there was petroleum subsidy which has also been removed and there is subsidy on electricity which I don't know whether is still existent.

Before you ask questions like this, I think you should first tell us how much tax you pay to government coffers annually, tell us how up to date you are in paying for PHCN (NEPA) bills, which will be the basis of any entitlement mentality.
the question isn't about Nigeria's governance it's about the Tinubu administration, so talking about cheap education, cheap electricity when in fact the prices of these thing has gone really high under the Tinubu administration, I don't think you understand the question.

Can you also name one thing the government is benefiting from you… after enjoying years and years of subsidy?

Most of our parents enjoyed free education, including Kemi Badenoch’s father… yet we cry like newly hatched chicks as though we benefit nothing…
the govt benefits from the citizens who vote them into power, pay their taxes and give up their natural right and privilege to thr govt.

But the nig govt gives nothing in return except hardship. They can't pay subside anymore which is the basic and simplest thing any govt can offer.

They see themselves as gods and see the people as chickens with no value for their lives

Hey park one side. I don't have time for bitter and foolish people.

Let me be a fool if I respond to you again.

I'm busy working towards hitting a million naira in savings per day unlike those being hateful and blaming anyone for their misfortunes. So sorry I wouldn't have extra time to waste on a closed minded person.

youre reasoning in reverse and need mental checkup. The govt removed subsidy which they should be paying even more And you're here supporting it.

Talking of taxes. This govt has increased taxes on all fronts. To transfer money now you'll pay tax, businesses are paying huge taxes everyday, civil servants are being taxed

Someone still depending on his parents like you won't know all this.

Re: Can You Name One Thing Nigerians Are Benefitting From This Government? by xoverx: 1:34pm On Jan 22, 2025
If a government should subsidize it should subsidize production thus encouraging local investment and improving on employment rate. of subsidizing consumption especially of imported items there by exporting jobs abroad.

So only enemies of Nigeria will ask for continuation of the subsidies that have been removed.

The irony of the matter is that you are the one not thinking this through… the reforms are a necessity, I understand the pain of the moment and I sincerely sympathise with everyone going through it. It is like having a big wound that needed to be covered, the hospital doesn’t have anaesthesia and the doctor is trying to manage the pain… yet the patient is angry saying can’t the doctor use his own salary to make provisions for the hospital… let’s be circumspect in our thinking… Nigeria is going through a phase…

Start by telling us what you've enjoyed from previous governments?
Your state government that's closer to you, should be your focus!
But, if you're focusing on FGN, then;
*There's subsidy on electricity
*Last December till January-free train Service
*Primary health care is free
*Mosquito net is free
*Polio vacine for your kids is free
*Federal University is tuition free.

Lagos state is free education Primary to secondary
Skills training is free
