Ogoni elected them, why are u agitated?

Maybe they should have called u to represent.
Ode
Ogoni elected them to meet with the president abi. Is this the kind of brain you use to eat okro soup?

So since the Ogoni 9 where not "democratically elected" they were on their own abi?

Mugu. Don't boil water with this kind of sense o

Commendable, but let's keep politics completely of this initiative,

For instance Wike didn't have any business in that meeting as he's no more the state governor and he's not from the ogoni ethnic region, but for want of unnecessary relevance, he made sure he was there just for the gram,

Next thing, Wike will want to be dictating the flow of the ethnic discussions through his cronies who are from ogoni, so they don't miss out on the eventual glory, and add it to their CV for 2027 bargain,

Now this can cause a lot of division, with diverse interest, b4 u say Jack, the effort will all collapse in our faces,

Keep politics out of ogoni re-entry, it's a very sensitive issue for the ogonis, and most importantly, keep Wike out!
Wike is a minister representing Rivers State in the cabinet. I am supporting his fight with Fubara though.

OBJ 8 years, couldn't do anything in Ogoni land. Jonathan, son of the soil, 6 years in the saddle, couldn't bring peace and development to the land. Baba Buhari, 8 years in charge, awarded the clean-up contract but couldn't bring crude exploration back to the oil rich ogoni land.

PBAT, only 2 years on the seat, he has pushed aside politics to deliver progress for ogoni land, Rivers State, and our country! Tinubu no be your mate, I beg!
So the meeting is the progress that Tinubu has has brought?
Countless meetings were also held in the past for your information.

Unfortunately, from the pictures, the people that were called were more of politicians than the real people of Ogoni kingdom

i hope the people will be carried along instead of these chop-I-chop politicians else the whole thing might end up being a waste of time

The focus should not be oil as it seems to be the driving force but more importantly environmental restoration, economic resuscitation and social justice for Ogoniland instead of the audio declarations the minister is making

Also, the oil wells should not become another national cake to settle friends and cronies. The indigenes should benefit from the allocation of oil wells as well. That is where the big issue is cause we know how Ebilokan does his thing. Lagos-Calabar highway of fraud is an example
It usually politicians that go ahead to discuss first then afterwards they get representatives from the communities.
Anyways Ogoni land is not a place where politicians cheat the people in such things because when the real truth is known by the people then that person who cheated his own land will go into oblivion and total obliteration.

You can never take politics out of anything in life.
Minister Wike is the only Rivers State person in this present administration who occupies the highest office and by virtue of that office, the President through the NSA thought it wise to ensure that the Minister be part of that meeting.
PBAT is not like some other persons. Irrespective of age, he gives honour to those who are deserving of it till they prove otherwise and he takes them out of the bench.

There's no place politicians don't cheat people. Let us hope the representatives of the communities will be carried along

I agree with you, but I hope Wike doesn't jeopardise things for want of glory.

PBAT will not undermine the role and powers of Gov. Fubara in the affairs of the Rivers State and the onward discussion of the start up of the Ogoni oil production.
PBAT will also not undermine the role of Minister Wike as a representative Minister from and of Rivers State as a former who installed his successor amongst all odds in the State.
The Ogoni oil production is for the interest of the Ogoni people, Rivers State, the FG and PBAT.
PBAT does not like people who happen to be ungrateful.
The glory will be shared accordingly as each person played a role directly and indirectly.
Ken Saro Wiwa and others killed will be immortalized. That is their own glory.

In less than 2 years, he improved crude production from 900k bpd to 1.5 million bpd and he is not resting....putting in place solutions that will take us to 2.5 million bpd.

And you are here spewing your usual trash cos your Pandora gbajue lost an election.... even your governors have moved on from your hate into progress and prosperity.

Continue to dey wail.....till 2031. Your eye go open last last...
