Yes. I'm also experiencing it. I saw somewhere that they are carrying out maintenance until Tuesday (today). But as at now, they are still down.

After application is submitted, the processing will start the day after the applicant completes his or her biometric.

They received your biometric information that same day you completed your biometrics. To determine the day they received it, you will need to log in to your application portal and look for your "biometrics enrollment date".

At the application center, the day an applicant's fingerprints are captured and a photo taken, the biometric information is encrypted and then sent electronically to the Government of Canada database so they can check it against the fingerprint records of

Please I need your advice people, I applied for the Canadian tourist visa about a week ago on the premise that I want to attend my brothers Convocation in June but I just realized today that I mistakenly put my brothers school address as where l’ll be staying instead of his home address, should I raise a web form for this?

Please I need guidance. I submitted my visitor visa application but found out that I addressed my letter of explanation wrongly.
I live in the uk and I addressed it to the Canadian High Commission in London, someone said it is wrong and should be addressed to the IRCC which I don’t even have their address. What’s the implication and what can be done?

Secondly I didn’t attach evidence of my business registration but uploaded the statement of account and tax returns.

Should I raise a webform for these concerns and if so, how do I please?

Where you address it is immaterial.

It can be assigned to any visa officer in a designated location but since it is visit could be the office closest to you but the officer location you adressed it to doesn't matter.

It is usually so because biometric (facial and fingerprint) is what validates your identity. Canada will not process application for Lagbaja (unknown or unidentified person).

What about my second question of not uploading the evidence of business registration with HMRC, I only uploaded evidence of tax returns for the past tax year. Do you think I should raise or webform for that?

My mom and sister applied for a visitor visa in September 2024, and yesterday they received a response. My mom's application was approved (she applied with a valid U.S. visa, but it has now expired), while my sister's was denied. They submitted their applications as a group.
This is just to update the group that IRCC is now treating September Applications.

Travelling history-Dubai and rwanda only.

Documents submitted-1 month bank statement, evidence of travelling history, employment introduction letter, documents showing number of leave days entitled to, office ID, Marriage certificate, family pictures, spouse transcript and spouse house address document.

I took my passport to VFS lagos without appointment and hopefully it will be out by next week.

What is the average time Canada takes to process TRV? is there a way it can be expedited? if the reason is urgent?

The average time it takes to process TRV is 175 days. However, the processing time is drastically reduced if you already have a valid US visa.

Oh wow.. does that include even when you have a family there Mother and Child Canadian and you want to visit? does it still take this long??

Just fill out the webform and explain the error; that’s all you can do for now.

Just raise a webform as suggested above and explain that it was an oversight by you and then watch out if the activity will be captured on your tracker or gcms note.

You can submit ur passport for visa stamping at canada vfs centre in usa or any canada vfs centre in the world and no need send ur passport back to nigeria

You can submit ur passport for visa stamping at canada vfs centre in usa or any canada vfs centre in the world and no need send ur passport back to nigeria

Check the uk vfs website
For Nigeria you can simply walk in to submit your passport without any appointment. (The appointment is only for biometrics anyway). Alternatively, call the uk vfs office (their number should be on the website) and ask.
