PHED moved us from Band B to Band A without notifying us. Band A is supposed to be 20 to 24 hrs of light, but we still get same amount of light, if not lesser, compared to when we were on Band B. The most annoying part is that we now pay triple more than we were paying.

From previous 4 units for 1k, dropped to 3.3 units without any announcement or awareness. It was used to be 9.8 units before the announcement. Meanwhile, band B customers are still enjoying 13.5 units for 1k which I'm sure that they are the ones being targeted now

But why are they enjoying it but don't want the masses to benefit anything from the government? Even when they earmark funds for developmental projects, they would still end up looting, mismanaging or diverting the funds

Why are you buying into this bullshitt? Subsidising masses have not killed any nation and it can never kill any nation. Power, water, petrol, telephone calls, drugs and medical treatments, etc were being subsidised in Nigeria before just like many countries are still doing today even after Nigerian government has stopped everything.
What is killing Nigeria is corruption. Funds needed for subsidising basic necessities of life in Nigeria is nothing compared to the huge amounts of money being looted and finding its way into the individual govt officials every year.
No more subsidies on anything in Nigeria, yet Tinubu still increased our debt by 8 trillion naira last year alone . This would have been blamed for subsidies conveniently in the past.
Your politicians are increasing their own different allowances every year, yet stripping the ordinary Nigerians of any benefit they can think of. It is the only Nigerian masses that should be making sacrifices, right?
