There is no justification for beating up someone that has impacted knowledge on you, no matter the circumstances except violence. Even if it is violence from the part of the teacher, taking justice into your own hands is the worst reaction. Look at how Lagos state and the citizens rewards the 3 years old child being maltreated by his teacher last two weeks. The state prosecute the teacher and the child received scholarship to university level (Our society still forbid evil and encourage good things). Beating up your teacher is like beating any of your parents because they are not as nice as the other. Please we need to put a stop to this moral decay going on in the society.

In 2013, one of my students, a cultist here in PH, threatened me. Reason? He didn't do my assignment, didn't copy his notes, and was entirely antagonistic. Had to instill some discipline and the guy threatened me.

I am not justifying the beating, I am just talking about the psychology reason that might have warranted the students beating their teacher

Everything depends on your relationship with them. My maths class as what the students which I teach don't miss even those who are always in school 2.. if they failed my test, I do best them, SSU even those taller than me then but the respect as their teacher was there

I was really proud of them when the inspector came because I wasn't too harsh nor too soft. Over average of them understand what I was teaching them

Most Nigeria students are really not ready to learn anymore, in this generation most parents can't even handle their children characters and behaviors. Only if the government can look deep into our educational system then things may change for the better.

The problem is all these yahoo yahoo.

The havoc this modern thievery has caused is beyond repair. Useless parents now induced their wards into it. This has generated a highly morally decayed youths in the society. You will see kids renting apartment, sagging, smoking and roaming about. Just too shameful.

The only thing is to declare heavy sanctions on online fraudsters. Funny enough, no one wants to go to school not to talk of to learn a trade. I was surprised one day when I heard a junior secondary school boy bought a Benz and his parents were celebrating. It is just beyond stupidity

Over disciplined. I also had such temptations when I was in SS3 about a particular teacher. I wasn't the only one with such thoughts then . Why that particular teacher?
