Very typical...even though stereotyping is not my thing but a repeated pattern becomes typical. |

seguntijan:You are the one with no meaningful comments. Is it that teacher the only teacher in that school, why have they not beating the other teachers? |

helinues:There is no justification for beating up someone that has impacted knowledge on you, no matter the circumstances except violence. Even if it is violence from the part of the teacher, taking justice into your own hands is the worst reaction. Look at how Lagos state and the citizens rewards the 3 years old child being maltreated by his teacher last two weeks. The state prosecute the teacher and the child received scholarship to university level (Our society still forbid evil and encourage good things). Beating up your teacher is like beating any of your parents because they are not as nice as the other. Please we need to put a stop to this moral decay going on in the society. |

helinues:You're absolutely entirely wrong. Rationalizing the actions of teenagers whose minds are still.developing...exactly what you just did. In 2013, one of my students, a cultist here in PH, threatened me. Reason? He didn't do my assignment, didn't copy his notes, and was entirely antagonistic. Had to instill some discipline and the guy threatened me. |

seguntijan:I am not justifying the beating, I am just talking about the psychology reason that might have warranted the students beating their teacher |

TONYE001:Don't mind the person jare. There is no moral justification for lifting up your hands on your parents/teacher. |

TONYE001:I still remember during my TP. I was posted to a remote area where reasonable number of the students could be older than we the TPT. You need to learn how to relate with people. |

helinues:Most students hates deciplinerian. And judging from the fact that the students were cultists,it mean probably the teacher decliplined one of them, and hence the attack. You mustn't be a bad teacher for students to hate you... |
| Re: SS2 Students Brutally Attack Teacher, Leave Him In Coma In Kogi State by TONYE001(m): 7:35am On Jan 23, 2025 |
helinues:Bros, on this, you're wrong. This stage of growth is the stage of rebellion. Antagonism which can sometimes amount to senseless violence is not an uncommon funding. What about in the West? Students are known to frustrate teachers...it's all over the media. It's not a matter of relating with people. And, it you knew me, you'd know that I relate just fine with people. For example, simply insisting that a student should do your assignment, or punishing a student for coming to school late can cost a teacher his or her life in some settings. Though I stopped teaching about 10 years ago, I'm speaking from over 3 years of experience. |

That is not a good report. Proper investigation should be carried out. Teachers and students are supposed to share a relationship. Not this! |
| Re: SS2 Students Brutally Attack Teacher, Leave Him In Coma In Kogi State by helinues: 7:38am On Jan 23, 2025 |
TONYE001:Except if the the teacher that was beating didn't know about the stage at which those students are currently in. That's why treating them with caution is important. |
| Re: SS2 Students Brutally Attack Teacher, Leave Him In Coma In Kogi State by idahme(m): 7:38am On Jan 23, 2025 |
helinues:What students term bad teacher is not usually rhat the teacher is bad, a disciplined teacher according to students is bad, if truly you have been in this circle you should know that. |
| Re: SS2 Students Brutally Attack Teacher, Leave Him In Coma In Kogi State by helinues: 7:39am On Jan 23, 2025 |
Myrepublic:Everything depends on your relationship with them. My maths class as what the students which I teach don't miss even those who are always in school 2.. if they failed my test, I do best them, SSU even those taller than me then but the respect as their teacher was there I was really proud of them when the inspector came because I wasn't too harsh nor too soft. Over average of them understand what I was teaching them |

havenz:The problem is all these yahoo yahoo. The havoc this modern thievery has caused is beyond repair. Useless parents now induced their wards into it. This has generated a highly morally decayed youths in the society. You will see kids renting apartment, sagging, smoking and roaming about. Just too shameful. The only thing is to declare heavy sanctions on online fraudsters. Funny enough, no one wants to go to school not to talk of to learn a trade. I was surprised one day when I heard a junior secondary school boy bought a Benz and his parents were celebrating. It is just beyond stupidity |

idahme:Over disciplined. I also had such temptations when I was in SS3 about a particular teacher. I wasn't the only one with such thoughts then . Why that particular teacher? That's the same case here, why beating this particular teacher only Some teachers are just deliberately mean. |
