The law prevented employers from not hiring Black people and minorities that were qualified.
So if a qualified Doctor applied to a hospital they would find a way not to hire them because they didn't want a Black doctor.

Again you don't get it. The law made it possible to discriminate using race which in fact goes against the American constitution. Trump's executive order cannot overture a constitutional amendment. So you are wrong when you say that.

In fact, let me start by asking, do you know the difference between a constitutional amendment and an executive order? Trump's executive order can not overturn the 14th Amendment.
So the idea that Trump created this brand new law that allows for the discrimination of blacks is very far from the truth.

Let me give you an example with university admissions.
In the past, universities would admit black kids will low scores over the Asian kids with much higher scores in the name of diversity. Under the Democrats, diversity was put ahead of merit. Trump wants merit first. Too me, that makes sense.

Institutional Racism meant, banks did not loan money to people of colour, organisations could simply find chi or old in your name and dump your application in the bin.

With the equal opportunity act, it meant it would be illegal for an organisation to discriminate against you on the basis of age, colour race, or sexual orientation.

In another vain, I think it's useless in fighting against the type of quota system we have in Nigeria. Where dull northerners occupy positions over more qualified southerners.
