This increase is just so they can buy more diesel for their old and broken down generators. They will not buy any new equipment o, so if you are expecting better services......BIG LIE. You will still get the same old, dropped calls, air calls, poor data services, poor audio quality. Infact, this new tarrif is to continue funding Telecoms big boys life style. |

This government is insensitive to the plight of Nigerians. Does the monitors that support this madness Pay for data. From presidency to local government chairman are all feed and taken care of by tax payers money, they will sit I the comfort of all of this and formulate policy that is detrimental to the tax payers. Upon all the loan they collected and share. I humbly demand that they should go and learn from Ibrahim Traore of Burkinafaso. He doesn't take any loan, yet he reduces governments expenditures and increases civil servants salaries. And they guy is younger than some of the politicians children that are still holding Nigeria down. A day is coming !!! |

I don't have any problem with the increment........Those Nigerians crying , as if they don't know that , everything in the country has increased....... . A bottle of Guinness big stout now is 1500 - 2000 naira , depending on the area in Mainland. ....... Full Isi Ewu is now 8k - 9k ...... something that was below 5k , before Tinubu came him....... |

Well.... This increase comes on the back of telecoms companies reporting huge losses in the financial years of 2023 and 2024. Their business operations were MAJORLY affected by the depreciation of the naira as the equipments used in the base stations and towers are imported, together with the heavy costs from telecoms providers, let's not forget the high cost of diesel used to running these base stations. |

folake4u:The increase will cause a further reduction in revenue for them. My CEO sold the company to south Africans because the company charged in naira and the expenses are in dollar. I hope in 2027, those who have businesses will vote wisely. |

Karleb:As per the revenue, it is quite early to predict, let's see till the end of Q1 first. Aww. I can imagine. One of my neighbours work at a multinational and the rented office here in Laygurs, they were paying rent in dollars. Lol they recently changed building to a cheaper one that the rent would be paid in naira. Hahahaha 🤣🤣 Karleb, this is funny. You shouldn't be surprised. Nigerians love their oppressors. Tinuboo will complete his 8 years. ![]() |

Arielle:you are already paying for the cost in terrible quality of service have you not noticed that WhatsApp calls keep dropping, that you can barely hear the person you are conversing with ? sometimes mtn has five minute data outages. |
