I hope you'll say the same thing if it was your child or your family member?
I am not one of those who believe someone must be punished for any disaster that
happens regardless of the circumstance.

I am pretty consistent in this regard.
You don;t know the damage that someone must be punished at all cost does to the
society.
A person should only answer for a crime they really commit and not assumed or believed to have committed.

Only God knows what is hidden to man.
I tried to defend him somewhere because of the little I know about him.
He is a nice man, I have slept in his hotel a couple of times. I and my worker. Although, his other Hilton Hotel in Ife.

If you are one of his contractors, you are allowed to pay for half of the cost of any room you pick.

I was one of the contractors Of his University.
He is a nice man.

But who knows, you can't trust humans.
More so, he is not a christian.

You must be stupid. Those who killed him confessed that they killed him on the order of adedoyin.
Where did you get this information. Nothing likely that. What they claim was that he died in the room, they discovered and stupidly covered it up and went to bury the guy.
Thats the news we heard.

He does not not need to be there. since he ordered the killing, he is an accessory to the murder and will be so charged.
is there any evidence he ordered the man killed? what's the result of the autopsy? who's the person ordered to do the killing? Did you guys follow this case at all

A staff of his saw him in the hotel few hours before the incidents happened.
His legal team are superb but how can you defend a weak case.
They lied a lot to cover up the case.
Etc.

His lawyers must be incompetent.

There is no evidence that a murder took place other than the fact that they conceal
the death after the fact.
The autopsy was inconclusive.

It also doesn't make sense to convict a suspect of murder when they were never present
in the murder scene unless it can be proven they gave instruction for the murder which
the prosecution failed to prove.

I suspect the court being influenced by public sentiments.

No murder weapon or method, suspect not present in murder scene and no concrete motive
and still the court went ahead to convict.

Covering up a death should not attract death sentence.

It is time to change the lawyers.
Do you know what the confession of others are.

It seems you didn't follow the case from day 1 of the matter, he was seen alongside his son in the footage recovered from the cctv in the hotel, as a result he is more than guilty. His accomplice(son) has been at large since then.

You have been listening to third party broadcasters who have a vested interest.
The alleged CCTV was never presented in court.
And assuming it was presented, it allegedly shows the men removing the body, not
the actual murder.

In fact, the first trial judge acknowleged the claim of the main suspect not
being present in the crime scene during the crime but he said that wasn't enough to exonerate him.

A lot of people are confusing media speculations and the actual evidence presented in court.

Yes, the "confession" was about denying that the deceased lodged in the hotel
and removing traces of the transaction.

That is cover up, not murder.
Not suspect confessed to murder.

You sound an evil person. So wale Olanipekun is a master in cover up? With clear evidence that someone ordered for a crime to be commited, they person should be spared become he didn't commit the crime directly? You have all the makings of a fine criminal and dishonest person

Yes, they did.
This wouldn't have been a surprise to you if you are familiar with legal proceedings.
A skilled lawyer would have helped them reason out of their emotional hole.

No competent civil court should convict a suspect of murder when
1. Murder was not legally established, that is inconclusive autopsy
2. The main suspect was not present during the alleged crime as acknowledged by the court itself
3. The prosecutor couldn't say how the deceased was killed, strangling, stabbing, poisoning, they have no idea
and lastly
the prosecutor cannot explain why the deceased had to be killed.

What is even baffling is that the high court trial judge once state that it is the duty of the prime suspect to
prove his innocence. That is enough statement to derail the case.
In civil proceedings, it is the duty of prosecutors to prove the suspect's guilt and not the other way around.

Your own version is completely inaccurate. This is not the first time someone died in hotel. The high court judge, 3 appeal court judges, all ignored evidences before them and ruled based on public outcry. Guy, you are defending the wrong customer. By the way, why is Adedoyin's son on the run? Didn't even care to come save his father , being a star witness. He knows their hands are not clean.
You are simply trying to exploit some weaknesses in the criminal justice system to justify a culprit, a murder. Whatever his motive, so far there are sufficient evidence that he ordered the murder, only him, Adedoyin can tell is his motive, we may not know, but that should not exempt him from punishment

Guy, I am not saying he was not guilty at all. And I am not saying he should not face the consequences.
Even if the guy died in his hotel naturally, did he or anyone has the right to bury the young man without informing the police?
As a learned person Phd, holder shouldn't he know better?

What about the family of the guy, dont they have a right to bury their son?
In all he is guilty. Fine!

His son Raheem is no where to be found till date. Why? Because they know they were guilty.
Of course they are.

The reason why I say their story of the guy dying in the room could be true is because he has been avoiding such news that could dent his name for long.
For instance, there was a big tree in his polytechnic sometime. The students were carrying rumor that that is his source of power and wealth. When the rumor got to him, he said they should cut it. To prove that the tree means nothing to him.
There was a time again when he wanted to commission a work of art (Statue of Oduduwa) in the school. His incompetent Lawyer advised him not to do it on the ground that people will start saying stuffs about the statue again. Although later he commissioned a smaller one place in front of the school.
So, in short, he has been in the suspicion of the towns people and students so, probably, when the guy died in the room, to avoid such rumors he stupidly arranged for the burial secretly.
Anyways, justice has taken its cause so, no need to argue over nothing.
I AM NOT SUPPORTING HIM
