Frankly speaking, I am an Akwa ibomite who was born and raised in Lagos.I have lived with the yorubas and I can say they aren't perfect but very tolerant.One thing I fancy about them is the penchant for education which I learnt.

One thing I find amusing at the political level is their desperation to grab power by habit an unholy alliance with the north just to be in power.Many see this move as a strategic one but it's just a move to sell out the region for the selfish ambition of one man who is willing to negotiate anything just to be in Aso rock.

Tinubu's Ascension to Aso rock wasn't only based on his political prowess but there was also "a rub my back , I scratch your back " deal that happened which I believe the introduction of Sharia law in the south West was part of the deal package.Baba must have agreed.

The people of the region will pay for this mortgage.First imagine, how come about a Muslim Muslim ticket I'm a multi religious society like Nigeria? There was certainly a compromise which many told us that we were mentally naive and shallow thinkers.The current aggression in the region by these religious sects is becoming nauseating.

Anyways I hope in the midst of the beatings they will be wise to know that every election comes with some consequences.

You see me I am never and will never give my allegiance to my politician but the the welfare of our country.If You are from my village and I perceive you to be incompetent I won't campaign or vote for you instead I will vote for a competent hand irrespective of my region.

An Osibanjo would have been a good replacement to the end of the horrible regime of Buhari.
