I have always thought that Maresca should change whatever formation after scoring first to 4-3-3 or 4-3-2-1 with Palmer being one of the 3 after the defence. Because Palmer is always anonymous after scoring or assisting first.

I’ve said this many times, these people are just opportunists who know little to nothing about the intricacies of this job. Their decisions are often so questionable that you can’t help but wonder if they have any idea what they’re doing.

Take Petrovic, for example. (While he may not be Chelsea standard,) they replaced him with Sánchez, who is far below his level, and to make matters worse, they loaned out a player for an entire season only to replace him with some people who are not even up to his standard. And when their plan backfired, they had to quickly recall him. Isn’t that a shameful act? It clearly shows a lack of competence, why loan him out in the first place?

There are three or four people in this thread alone, who, if given the opportunity, could manage the affairs of CFC far better than what we’re seeing today.
