1. Course of study and grade are 2 very useful considerations in determining performance in the labour market. For example, if someone studies Library Studies and graduates with a 3rd Class, he/she would have to do something extra to find placement. This person is in no position to suggest to others that "school na scam."

2. In the message I quoted, you wrote this: "...except my useless certificate which I will burn to ashes very soon."

So, you don burn the cert or you never burn am? Because this your quote, you talk say you don burn am. Which of the two statements is the truth?

Ehhmm, in case you haven't burnt your cert, please, don't. See areas where you can improve on yourself and augment your cert. While at this, you can explore reasonable alternatives available to you...could be learning a skill, branching off to something else, starting a business, etc.

You are right to some extent, being a graduate in Nigeria just favour a very few percent of those graduating every year, but you would have advised him that while he is planning of going to school or while in school he should try and learn a very good skill before he graduate from the university.
