South East has oil
South East has Gas

But guess what

Oil companies are all located in their Lagos

Paying VAT, PAYEE, Income tax etc

.ayne South East will disconnect the gas pipelines and oil pipelines from Egbema to Ohaji and Oguta ...then they will mandate the gas firms and oil firms in Lagos to come and open administrative offices in East

Good reason Nigeria needs restructuring. Let SE receive the VAT on imports at Ontsha head bridge and stop paying at Lagos Port, we want to check something. Then, they can also deduct the input from same collections.

Right now, while Lagos collect VAT output from imports, SE deduct input VAT from local output for VAT that was collected at Lagos port. That is robbing Paul and leaving Peter buoyant.
grin mumu man, is oyo state collecting vat on import too? Or how do you explain the fact that the so called brown roof republic generates more vat than all the billionaire state put together grin

You can’t give what you don’t have nwokem grin onne port is closer to you, pls make use of that and stop hiding under Lagos port for your failures as a people grin

Yorubas are finally happy they have succeeded in destabilizing and destroying Southeast economically and politically.

Your decades of ganging up with North to marginalize Igbos politically have finally yielded fruit for you guys. You can now celebrate.

The illegal boundary adjustments done by Hausa-Fulani and Yoruba Military Heads of States that took oil rich Imo, Abia and Anambra communities and placed them in Rivers, Akwa Ibom, etc to reduce Igbo economic power in revenue sharing have paid off for you Yorubas. You guys have won.

Your decades of abandoning federal infrastructures in the Southeast amid Igbo people's cries, and making sure every key federal infrastructure, government bodies, agencies and whatnot got concentrated in Lagos has paid off for you guys, you can now rejoice and jubilate, Southeast is forever gone.

Also cheering Buhari on to use heavy militarization, brazen nepotism and cheating to destabilize Southeast by foisting Hope Uzodinma on Imo people against their wish, turning peaceful IPob to a semi radical group and using state sponsored actors, including Fulani militia groups pretending to be herdsmen to cause unknown gunmen, kidnapping, insecurity in the Southeast have finally paid off for you guys. But hear me well, it is not yet an Uhuru for you guys.

Yes Southeast today has become a shadow of itself just within 8 years of APC evil leadership and you guys are laughing and mocking Igbos. No issue, God will keep us all alive to see how this movie will end for the whole Nigeria.

I keep repeating it, with the crop of Yoruba youths Bola Tinubu's APC have raised in Yoruba land, Yoruba's future looks bleak. It may look like nothing now, but time will bring you guys to reality. Your forefathers and fathers followed the path of peace, wisdom and justice which is why Yoruba land is enjoying some progress and peace today, but Bola Tinubu is turning you guys to treacherous, inhumane, unjust and lying devil's in the name of Emilokan politics, remember every action of man comes with its equal reward in time.

If you guys do not desist from this arrogance and senseless attacks and political gangup and instigation other tribes against Igbos for your selfish and devilish political gains, Southwest will pay a heavy price not from Igbos but from natural forces, it's a must, time will make you understand how life works.

You guys have used your tribal religious bigotry, treachery and gangup with the North to sideline Igbos politically for decades and still managed to use it to snatch Obi's mandate in 2023, instead of you guys to sue for peace, embrace peace, extend hand of friendship and call bygones bygones now that you guys are completely in charge, instead you guys are rather using the influence to intimidate, oppress, destabilize and ridicule Southeast and Igbos and you think you and Tinubu controls the affairs of this world? Time will shock you guys, continue with your arrogance and foolery, it will be too shocking, no man will comprehend when its ripe.
You need sense. Bend down select sense at Aba market and I will pay, bills on me. You took time to write lies backed up by cheap propaganda.

We will like to have all the data of how much oil and gas that you scooped from the whole igbo speaking communities of the former Eastern Nigeria, and how much of that ended up in allocations for Lagos and Oyo. Ofcourse from independent sources. You know why? We want you to keep your VAT, while we keep our oil and gas earnings!
Deal?

Going forward the agitation will focus on total resource control. All earnings must reside with the states or regions. And all seaports must be given equal opportunities. That doesn't change the fact that Niger Delta oil is what is sustaining the Nigeria economy making up over 70% of Budget revenue and 95% of foreign Exchange revenue.

Is anyone surprised why the yoruba people suddenly started shouting about VAT and the North suddenly shouting about how they're feeding the nation when Niger Delta is the one feeding everyone?

Niger Delta has been conquered. Shame on Tompolo, Asari Dokubo and the rest stomach infrastructure militants. They caused this

How much was taken from Imo, Abia and Anambra oil and gas? Don't be mischievous, tell the whole story.

Lagos wants to keep their vat despite being built with coal and oil money from Enugu and other states. The north has kept it's gold, now Lagos wants to keep the country's collective vat.

Remember, once this vat succeeds, full resource control will be pushed and activated. You cannot keep the nation's collective vat, turn around to also take the natural resources from ss and se.
