I know of one husband and wife team that own a chambers. Husband does the court stuff, wife does things like commercial law and so forth that don't require going to court.

Also nothing stops a lawyer from owing other Business that has nothing to do with law

This court case is a symptom of what is wrong with our judiciary. It is very difficult for an ordinary citizen to get justice in this country especially when a powerful person or wealthy person is involved. That is why the country is the way it is now
