Judolisco:Never knew somebody else noticed that too. The Ransome money was even intact. The reaction was swift because of the embarrassment it would have caused the police hierarchy if it had lingered on . But believe me, the kidnappers picked on the wrong person. I want to believe if they had known who the woman was, probably, they would have picked someone else. |

Omoawoke:2nd to the last paragraph: 'Although these murderous gangs were initially suspected to be militants who fled the military onslaught from the oil-producing Niger Delta regions, revelations from some of the kidnapped victims who regained freedom showed that most of the gunmen were fleeing terrorists from the north discussed (sic. It should be "described" ) as herders' |

The only thing that will bring security is to have police serve in their regions. All the non Yoruba police in Yorubaland are armed robbers and kidnappers, they then turn around and frame anyone they see around. They also give guns to their brothers and this is the fact. Let everyone go and protect and serve in their region and see how crimes are reduced by 85%. President Tinubu needs to do this, there’s no point for aliens to be policing other people, let them go and police their home region. |

The police took action when one of their wives fell victim. ![]() That could mean a base for militancy and terrorism have already been established in Lagos |

So northern bandits are now in Ogun state. |

How great it would have be if our police has been deploying rescue team like this to all the victims kidnapped in the past? Is it because of the caliber of the person involved that make them do this? |

Intelligence and Security in that area is very lax. Government needs to pay serious attention before it gets totally out of hand. |

Omoawoke:Yes... Those insidious and unfortunateIjaw criminals are back again along the creeks of the Western States. The idiots among the Ijaws who have all along been the ones perpetrating these crimes in the creeks of areas such as Arepo, Isheri North and Ikorodu, etc, right in Yorubaland and they are indeed back like they did with impunity during the Goodluck Jonathan Presidency. Watch how confident the Ijaw boys all were in the 2nd video while the walked with automatic weapons through the estate in Arepo close to their Arepo Creek hideout. Watch the video BELOW of the surviving Ijaw Kidnappers (who also engaged in brutal killings, armed robberies and rapes) said they came from the Arogbo IJAW axis. Most of these bandits from the past arrests made since 2016 (after former Governor Akinwunmi Amadeus had briefed the Presidency about the massive spikes in kidnapping and armed robberies from these Ijaw criminal elements and orders were given by President Buhari in July 2016 for the ruthless bombing of the Arepo creeks by the Nigerian Air Force jet fighters) are really from Bayelsa and Delta States. The Governors of Lagos, Ogun, and Ondo States have to wake up and ensure that Nigerian Air Force air surveillance aircraft are used to monitor the tough creek terrains regularly and if just like in 2016, the Nigerian Air Force detects activities of these Ijaw bandits, they MUST go right ahead a bomb them out again. Horrible things happened during the Goodluck Jonathan Presidency when these evil Ijaw bandits humiliated residents of highbrow areas of Lagos and Ogun States (Isheri North and more) raping women during vicious armed robbery operations and kidnapping victims for ransom including the first-class Oba of Iba Kingdom in Lagos State. seunlayi:@seunlayi It's the same strand of criminals among the IJAWS that carried out this kidnapping for ransom and outright rapes, murders, and armed robberies right from when Goodluck Jonathan was the Nigerian President and his government lacked the political will to smoke these Ijaws bandits hiding in camps within the creeks of Arepo close to highbrow neighborhoods. It took President Buhari's intervention after Governor Ambode had briefed him about the vicious kidnapping of the Oba of Iba Kingdom in Lagos State, for Nigerian Air Force airstrikes to be carried out on the camps where they even had anti-aircraft guns mounted to their boats as can be seen in the 3rd video BELOW. adaxme:Learn to be more analytical and read properly NEXT time before talking about any topic. This will save you from embarrassments down the road. The 2nd video from Channels Television of May 1, 2015 vividly shows these evil Ijaw criminals (who came from majorly Bayless and Delta States) walking boldly in daylight in Arepo, Ogun State right in Yorubaland shooting guns into the air. They had charms tied to the bodies so that gave them the confidence to walk around BUT the Nigerian Air Force jet fighters were used to bomb the living daylights out of more than 100 of them who died and absolute peace was restored to Lagos, Ogun, and Ondo States! This crime of kidnapping has absolutely NOTHING to do with the Yorubas like you incorrectly and unwisely stated, BUT these relentless kidnappings and criminality are being carried out by IJAW criminals who have for several years now (from time to time) engaged in kidnappings for ransom and bank robberies around the creeks of Arepo, and even Victoria Island and Ikoyi while escaping in speedboat through the waterways. A lot of crimes that are committed in the Western part of Nigeria based on credible crime statistics that are available to me for years now are done by non-Yoruba folks (due to the cosmopolitan nature of Yoruba cities where people from other parts of the world and Nigeria come to hustle or do formal international business) especially the Ibos, Ijaws, and Fulani criminals being in the top 3 over the decades from vicious luxury bus attacks, to bank robberies, kidnappings, rapes, etc). It's the same strand of criminals among the IJAWS that carried out this kidnapping for ransom and outright rapes, murders, and armed robberies right from when Goodluck Jonathan was the Nigerian President and his government lacked the political will to smoke these Ijaws bandits hiding in camps within the creeks of Arepo close to highbrow neighborhoods. It took President Buhari's intervention after Governor Ambode had briefed him about the vicious kidnapping of the Oba of Iba Kingdom in Lagos State, for Nigerian Air Force airstrikes to be carried out on the camps where they even had rocket propelled guns attached to their boats as can be seen in the 3rd video below. seunayantokun:This situation has absolutely NOTHING to do with Fulani bandits or herds men. Police Arrest Two Suspected Kidnappers Of Ex-AIG Odumosu’s Wife https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qXe9rYARO8 Channels Television • Jan 25 2025 They are Ijaw bandits who confessed to the crime. Read my posts and attached videos on this same thread page for MORE evidence that Northerners are NOT involved here. The allusions to a Northern involvement in this vicious crime are simply a DECOY to divert suspicion to the usual Ijaw involvement in this kinds of kidnapping crimes usually committed through the waterways and they escape as well using speedboats through the same waterways of Lagos, Ogun and Ondo States. |

seunayantokun:@seunayantokun My pleasure. My bad, I apologize for the unintended misinterpretation. I read the main article from The Nation newspaper again and indeed found out that the newspaper referenced the alleged Northern bandits involvement speculation. Immediately I read two weeks ago on another thread that Arepo, Ikorodu and environs were experiencing kidnappings for ransom, I immediately knew it was the Ijaw criminal elements that had struck again in Yorubaland based off of past crime patterns around the creeks of Lagos, Ogun and Ondo States. Cheers. |
