After watching the series "Dune prophecy"
My hunger to watch the dune movies part 1 and 2 just increased.
Let me see if the movies will impress me like the series.

Nosferatu is a solid 7/10 for me.

The movie would have been a 9 or even 10 for me if they had added proper jump scare scenes because there is nothing, absolutely nothing scary about this movie at all.
Gone are the days when horror is really horror, now they just twist dark dramas into horror.
However what i love about the movie is the storyline, the writing was perfect and the addition of the professor, the deaths of people across the city truly synchronizes with the writing but the ending kind of felt off.
I was hoping for a more rigid kind of ending.

Another aspect of the movie i loved were the dialogues, i am a big fan of intelligent discussions in movies and series and this is why i am a huge addict of British series and movies because their use of English, Grammer mixed with poems, poetry and parables gives me goosebumps.
The dialogues in this movie were a 10/10 for me.

As an African man, i wish she was a Little bit bursty, she would have been perfect.
She should add weight a little so that all her flesh will come outside, lol
I don't like the way she is dry.

So I decided to go back to[b] Emilia Perez[/b] after just getting infuriated with it in just the first 10 minutes on first watching 🤦🏽‍♂️. And I can totally get why it’s getting all the nominations👍🏾.

First of all, it’s one of the worst musicals ever and the fact no one is talking about that is just insane- I did not even know it was a musical until I watched it. The music is terrible and catchy-less and sometimes I found it difficult to know if they were just speaking or singing🤦🏽‍♂️.

Second - the story lacked direction and it was so distracting to even know who the main protagonist was 🤦🏽‍♂️ probably because the person who was ‘The hero’ left his wife, his children - is a drug dealer and the movie still wants us to feel sorry for him/her because he decided to leave his children and wife to become a woman😒.

The only reason the Voting bodies like BAFTA, Golden Globes and the Oscars has Emilia Perez probably winning Best Picture (and I’m 90% sure it will) is because they don’t see themselves as movie critics but political critics and trying to use their power to make a political statement about trans ideology and trans rights esp in a time a lot of people are totally against it affecting their own lives even the president.

It’ll also be a historic moment for the Oscars- it’ll be the first time a man wins best Actress😂 over women that have been female all their lives. It would also be the lead to win Best Picture - a woman director; woman leads; a trans lead too- great PR for the Oscars

Was the movie made by a "woman director"?

Anyways, it's completely obvious that Hollywood is using this movie to send a message to the current political climate, I mean a movie about a "Mexican" who's a "trans woman" already outed that agenda which is ironic because most Mexican transwomen online and the two I know personally called it a complete insult to both transness and Mexican heritage. Also I should add "The apprentice" to the list of movies that sent a message to the political lawn this year hence why both are getting love this award season, it's nothing new, movie award season have always been political since the days of Nixon and was much worse under Reagan

My gripe with this movie isn't even the transness, it's that it's a good story with blazing performances executed poorly. Ten minutes in, I started to ask if this was a "direct to DVD movie", that was how bad it was and don't even get me started on how they butchered Mexican heritage starting with the language, the translation was literally AI because nobody can tell me otherwise.........you can tell the director didn't even research anything and just copied and pasted stereotypes but the director is a french biological straight man helming a movie about a Trans Mexican woman so that alone was a red flag

I agree with everything you said. It was a solid 7 for me as well. I was expecting it to be a bit better to be honest. Although it wasn't bad at all.

Yeah right, this is absolutely my case too.
I have got like 15 different series (all completed episodes) that i have already downloaded and yet to watch.
When i start now, it will be goodbye to movies in like three to 4 months.

Having two DCU projects filming simultaneously while two other movies getting prepped for filming later this year, feels UNREAL.

One of the best movie franchise i have ever seen.
