She was only using her brain and it rightfully told her to save herself from arrest and Trump deportation.
Even in the absence of cctv,that money would have not only been traced to her,but where and how she either hid it or spent all or part of it.

It is plainly due to fear of the known consequence. There are chances she could be caught as there is camera everywhere. In the western world, being honest is a must, because they have set systems in place to catch and deal decisively any unruly behaviour.

While I agree that there are consequences in the western world, in this particular incident, the money was in the restroom, and there wouldn't be CCTV in a restroom, plus she made efforts to track down the owner. That tells you she is simply an honest person. After all, in the same western world, there are crimes being committed daily.

I didn't know why I rejected the 100k he gave to me as appreciation cos I was so broke at the time, had no food or anything essential commodity at home. But I never regret one bit

You rejected the 100k reward because the reward of the religious faithful are in heaven Just that some people's reward could be waiting in heaven but they will make hell instead and burn forever while sinner that repented at the last hour will make heaven and enjoy the reward of that faithful man.
