You can try a better native treatment. They are some leaf they can grind and put on that wound to help heal it. I had accident and those native treatment helped me a lots. English would have taken longer time.

Just curious: why must he take this person to your church? Are God's healing hands limited to the physical location of your church?

Is the church the first point of call in the line of care provision for sick persons?

Op, your friend is suffering from leg ulcers, which is a common complication of sickle cell anaemia.

Yes no doubt, when managing wounds, you need to be sure other factors that affect wound healing are in or not in existence.
So he will need a blood glucose test to be sure he’s not diabetic.

Generally, that wound will have to be handled by experts, not carelessly.

Then for the abdominal pain he feels, that may most likely be from the pain medications he’s taking.
If he’s taking drugs like Diclofenac, Ibuprofen (group called NSAIDs); they cause peptic ulcer disease.

Please take him to the hospital to manage the present problems and better prevent further complications.

My friend got injured by broken bottles and a solar battery that hit his leg. Ever since then, these minor injuries have been expanding. He has admitted to me just now that he's got sickle cell, he had started with injections amd I was terrified that he wasn't taking any pills. When I arrived, he was already complaining of pains...

We switched to just pills few days ago, and he is still complaining of pains and stomach ache. The wounds remove pusses from time to time. The last time he had an injury at that same spot, it took a little over a year before it healed — that was when I advised he take a break from work and go treat himself.

Now, he's always complaining of pains, stomach ache (he believes it's from the pills he's taking), and not being able to walk (although it's gotten a little better).

Please what do you suggest? Doctors in the house. I brought it here on this section because it has a huge traffic. Note that he's been to plenty of hospitals when he had that first injury but it only got worst...
