The media is only interested in bad news.

My observation is that, most of these marriages last if the man is a celebrity and the woman is not a known celebrity.

Modified : I heard that Tiwa Savage is one of the women looking after Annie at the rehab center. It’s funny that Tiwa Savage that her estranged husband alleged to have slept with 2baba is the one taking care of 2Baba’s wife.

Yes those are the few exceptional women.

You are right. If two people are always in the public eye, it puts a strain on their relationship.

Most marriages are what I called social media marriage.

The reason why most marriages are still strong is because they don't bring it to the social media space for people to sow bad see, people can only harm what they see and hear.

If you have issues as a couple sort it out only within the premises of your room because the moment any ear hears it apple of discord will be sown.

For Simi and Adekunle marriage,
I will advise Simi to do away with toxic women for friendship, most especially DIVORCEES.

For Gold,I will advise him to keep female fans at bay, they ready to destroy his beautiful and blissful marriage within a twinkle of an eye.

There’s really nothing extraordinary about these celebrity marriages—they’re just human like everyone else. It’s funny how some people idolize them as the standard for relationships but overlook their own parents, who’ve likely weathered storms and built lasting bonds. Marriage is not about the glitz and glam we see online; it’s about real-life sacrifices, understanding, and commitment. Using celebrities as a litmus test for a successful marriage is misguided. Look closer to home—your parents or everyday couples often hold the true lessons on love and partnership.

It’s honestly ridiculous how people use total strangers, like celebrities, as a yardstick for successful marriages. These are humans with flaws, not some fairy-tale characters. Most of what we see is curated for the public, not the full picture. Meanwhile, many overlook their own parents or everyday couples around them who’ve built lasting marriages through real struggles and sacrifices. It’s dumb to idolize people you barely know while ignoring genuine examples of love and commitment closer to home.

Re: 2face & Annie: 10 Strongest Nigerian Celebrity Marriages Still Thriving In 2025 by OboOlora(f): 2:12pm On Jan 28, 2025
Most of the marriages termed as thriving are the ones the husbands have been turned to GBEWUDANI and the wives are the ones calling the shots lol
Take for example Omotola's own, the man left his thriving pilot career to relocate to US to be shuttling between being a stay home dad and delivering parcels for Amazon all because the wife wanted to live abroad.
Peter and Lola, everyone knows Lola is domineering and dictatorial so of course, she runs the home.
Bisola and Timi Dakolo hmmm, go to Loughborough and ask men about what Bisola has been up to since she fought her husband to move to England while he stays back in Nigeria.
Celebrity marriage is 'the more you look, the less you see'
BTW, I dropped this comment based on facts I know...........

Lol because their wives have sense and respected their feminine boundary.

Omotola knew her husband is a chronic womanizer, she married him like that and didn't try changing him to a Monk.

Same with Dare.

Once a woman understands the difference between a man's sexual complications commonly referred to as men being polygamous in nature, and respects that aspect of her successful horseband's personality while focused on being a supporting and understanding wife that doesn't give her husband restlessness stalking him around looking for ladies he is dating or moving with to embarrass, such marriage always last long and flourishes.

But the moment a married woman believes that she is too beautiful, too classy, too good, too sexy and too important for any man to cheat on her and therefore she go about harassing and stalking her husband, giving him restlessness in the name of marking him bumper to bumper so he won't cheat, then she should prepare to go back to her single hood sooner than later grin
