The problem with Nigeria's borders to the North isn't even about its porosity, it's about what enters & goes out through those vast stretches of boundaries.

Secure the borders, let's know who is coming in and going out. The main border itself is just a plain sight. Niger is bordering about five states in Nigeria. Easy entrance, no security. We need more security at the borders but I heard some immigration personnels are biased, they allow them free entry without checks.

There are over 50 pathway borders between konni, galmi, illela, madaoua, Agades and maradi. And worst of all, the border communities are conniving with those people to smuggle in weapons. Only, a 24hrs drone surveillance along those régions can curtail the menace.
