The hypothetical 65 year old in this scenario thinks his vote will get that black/brown healthcare worker deported. It’s doesn’t mean he’s right. Such a person doesn’t even understand how immigration works because he’s dumb. He just assumes anyone who’s not white is illegal. And that’s why he votes for Trump the way he votes. Instead he’s voting against himself because he lacks knowledge.
