This over confidence was the greatest undoing of PDP that made them lose the presidency to APC. I remember then when they were bragging they would rule for 60 interrupted and just their 16 years rule, they were booted out.
If Tinubu continue in the trajectory of this economy indices, winning even his constituency will be very difficult for him because his economy policies have created more enemies against his government than friends. I know many APC supporters in my area that have vowed not to vote him again because of the economy situation his policies have dipped them.
If election is conducted today in a free and fair atmosphere, Tinubu will be defeated hands down, except they perfected the usual rigging machine but that will cause serious repercussion as witnessed in 2011.
Some people just intentionally keeping quiet because they know where they are going and the few that are talking are talking because they don't know how to bottle up words. Mr. Man, the citizens are not smelling with Tinubu's policies and some are cursing him day and night.
