Now, tramadol is very addictive (which you already know) but it's addiction is easier to stop compared to other terrible opioids. You actually have to fight for 14 days.

The truth? It will only be worse on day 2 to day 5. From day 6 to day 14, cravings would have reduced.

I guess, you are not working at the moment so stopping it will not he hard.

Step 1: Destroy every stash you have, including the hidden ones.
Step 2: Buy some apples, lemon, watermelon etc
Step 3: Tell your mother your decision to stop it and that in line with this, you will not be leaving the house for the next 7 days. (Accountability is important)
Step 4: Get your bible, a notebook and pen. You will use the opportunity to draw close to God, asking for help and strength. Also take the time to reflect o your life and strategies the steps to get your apartment in the next 6 months, get a job, learn a skill and get back your life. Download pictures of your successful class mates, agemates even younger ones for positive anger and motivation.

Day 1: By 9 AM, you will feel some craving but it will stop since you took the last day. By afternoon, you will feel a stronger craving.
Your head will feel abnormal. There will be anxiety. Zero joy. Bad mood., Anger etc. Just bare. Eat and sleep. Try to eat that food that makes you sleep.

Day 2: You will want to take it. Dont fail.
Day 3: Will be mild and still terrible. Just try to sleep.

if you don't take it, by day 14, craving would have reduced. Withdrawal symptoms mostly gone. At this time it is your discipline and diligence that will help you.

I am an addict too and I started in 2015 as well. Presently I take atleast 6 200mg tablets everyday. It’s very expensive but it’s a must buy for me.


I hate it and I want to stop but I can’t, I had my first seizure four months ago and almost died, took 12 tablets unknowingly within two hours (it’s a long story).

I have a family that depend on me so I can’t go sit in rehab for now, the last time I tried rehab was in 2022 and they said the cost is 500k per month for 6 months. I will stay there for six months.

Those saying you should try and stop it if you put your mind to it bla bla doesn’t really know what you are talking about. They don’t. Those who said they used and stopped maybe they used for some months or weeks and tried and stopped it but this is the tenth year I have started using it and I am 100% sure you need to goto a rehab if not you can never stop.

You can’t stop it on your own. I wish we can share numbers. I have been looking for people who has similar problems and their experiences.

That willpower comes from within and no one else can boost us. It may hurt loved ones but no one is as hurt as yourself and as they say, you can't give what you don't have. If you don't love YOURSELF, how do you love others

Take care of yourself first. You know when to stop, it's the trigger you are waiting for. Sometimes, it takes the loss of someone for people to wake up but think about it, how do you become sober because someone else died? Doesn't that make you feel guilty even when you stop the addiction? Stand up for yourself in this world, if the rest of the world is not good, try to be that good person and if the world don't care, take care of yourself first.

Tramadol is an opiod while ibuprofen is not. It is an NSAID.
Opiods are addictive and causes euphoria.

Tramadol... I nearly got addicted to that thing last year... I got it as a prescription from the doctor and at first, I also hated the feeling after taking it... Hallucinations, dizziness, feeling hot, constipation, having stomach cramps whenever I was hungry... I eventually stopped taking it because I couldn't deal with all those side effects.

But something happened and I had to resume taking it again, but this time I noticed that it was giving me this energy I didn't have before and I'd be hyperactive and at peace with myself... It became my coping mechanism for a while until I ran out of the pills.

It was only when I found myself begging for one more pill that I realised that I needed to stop before it was too late... I've heard how addictive it could become and I'm glad I was able to restrain myself while there was still time... So I wish you all the best in fighting the addiction.

Let them check you into a good rehabilitation center, depending 9n your location i guess lagos state government have a program of such that cater for people with such addiction. GOD WILL HELP YOU

Lol bros going to small village won't help because that addiction is like a spirit that will connect the person to where he or she will have access to it or the person won't know how he fly back to the city just to take it. The best is to enroll into rehabilitation centre.

I will only recommend that you go for spiritual counseling, you need to see somebody who is taller than you in the spirit not just any Pastor, the person could be a deliverance minister, evangelist, prayer warrior or very sound Bishop, then go deliverance hard prayers, you can purchase MFM books, there is one called, Prayer rain, when you open it, you look for your areas of need and start praying.

blood let me tell you the truth that no one here will tell you if you are willing to stop prepare to get sick for like a week but u will be ok but what i want you to do is to get your self malaria and typhoid drugs plus cough tablets and other antibiotics drugs let me give u instance if u took tm yesterday the next day start taking this medication it won't be easy with u because you will have serious fever and cough but try as much as possible not to get tempted to d trams when u start having d fever and cough symptoms keen to ur medications u will be restless but try to keen to d medication in one week time u will be fine i knw what am saying u ain't a lone in this you shouldn't be taking up to 1.5mg bro had it been u do skip it truth be told there are people that have been taking trams for d past 6yrs but they haven't had seizures but u are actually over using it bro pls calm down and follow my procedures

I was using trams back in 2015/16 regularly mostly for the fvck of it and I got really hooked although I never liked the morning after feeling I still wouldn't stop it but one thing about me no matter how I use something it never controls me. It's rather the other way round. So I'm always able to put a complete stop. TM had it's last use on my system when I was faced with a very big juicy yansh and tight kuntus in a hotel room and I couldn't perform because of overuse.

But U seem to be controlled by it so I pray U find strength and a real reason to quit it and going by Ur story there's enough reasons except U no value Ur life sha.
