is it showing no SIM card or no service,dial *#06# and see if imei pops up.

Try another sim card.

The phone may be network locked. Can you go to Settings>General>About, Then scroll down to carrier lock. See what is displayed there.

May be the SIM tray/holder got damaged somehow. Can you reach out to the person you got it from andask if they had a sim card working in it before

Good evening house. I noticed an issue with my iPhone 12 pro last week, It requests for my apple account password and when I input it, it simply says "An unknown error occured" I have been having this issue for over a week, I have called apple support countless times within the last 1 week but they don't seem to know what's going on.
