This was the same reason Malcom X was killed by his own 'Muslim brother's when he dared to question the ethical conduct of the leader of the Nation of Islam brotherhood.
Malcom X knew the consequences of his actions, and predicted his killing at the hands of the so-called brotherhood.

There is something untoward about the culture of fundamentalism and extremism joined at the hip to the religion of Islam.

Now the only thing this killing has succeeded to do, is make a martyr of the victim, lending credence to his criticism.
