I thought "adultery" is a religious sin?
Is it a now crime against the state? This country is fast gliding towards the Afghanistan of their dream! Very soon, ladies will be arrested for not properly covering their legs and young boys will be arrested for not growing enough beards!

They were charged under the Penal code aka sharia law and not under the criminal code.

For those asking, last I know, adultery is a crime under the penal code of justice which the Northern part of Nigeria practices. The south practices a criminal code of justice.

How is all this ur problem now, you are not from SW so why are crying more than the bereaved, someone say he doesn't want something in his place you that is far away is saying he must collect it. Why can't you collect it to your region. Some of you are surprised that the SW stood their ground against the sharia panel. Most of you guys that hate the Yoruba Moslems are now trying to form saints now. Why can't you guys just face your region or better still tell the Moslems in SE to implement Sharia law in your region.
